Look at some of the nice gifties my parents bought me. I didn't really feel like taking a picture of everything, plus I haven't apparently gotten all my presents yet, but here is a sneak peak.

Harper has had Smooch (the white and pink monkey) for awhile and she has always stayed on pretty well but Grins (the blue and pink monkey) fell off and got lost pretty soon after I bought her. I finally found Grins again a couple of days ago and Harper is so happy to have both her monkeys together again.

Pra mim, os melhores retratos são espontâneos, e sem riso forçado. Neste caso, a pose pode até ter sido premeditada, mas não fiz questão que a Mari sorrisse... até porque estava triste.

The next 20 pictures are of the skeletal reconstruction of a blue whale. It was a project that was happening in the same building as a polymer clay artist's retreat I was attending in Victoria.

Qurbani Project 2012 - Azad Kashmir

I was in debate with myself with what picture I should choose for Day 5. The Teacher Education Club hosted a Scholastic Book Fair on campus that I coordinated and it was a huge success but I find this one to be a bit more meaningful.

This was taken at school where the Women's Center was holding a fundraiser to stop domestic violence. Students were able to use an assortment of paints to make a hand print to be used in a mural to raise awareness about domestic violence. Such a great idea.

I posted a photo yesterday about an art project being undertaken by on class. Here is one of the girls working on her part of the project

Robert Kinnear undertook a two-month 7,000 km motorbike journey on the Ho Chi Minh trail with a pineapple in his hand to mobilise support for UXO cleanup efforts in the region. The undertaking was named “Project Pineapple” since the brightly coloured BLU 26 submunitions were nicknamed “pineapples” by the American troops who used them in the Vietnam War.

Feathers & Tails

Big horn sheep - up close and personal.

You just can't see the tails.

Hard to choose a favourite from the images I took of Vica but this is probably it. When I've gotten round to processing them I'll stick the rest online too.

I was having a few days in the beach! I had a really good time but now i'm back in Barcelona!!!!
