This is my daughter Sintaja, she decided to pose for me today, { tada }, lol.
We used natural light coming from the window to the left of her.
Great ideas need landing gear as well as wings.

Well I've come to the end of the road with my Project50 yesterday was my 50th day!
So because of electrical problems last night I'm a day late & a few dollars short, lol.
But I thought this shot & this tune would befit what's going on here.

This is Reamie the Sugar Bear, my son Karriems newest pet.
Here's a link to the Suagr Bears website if you'd like to know more.
Sugar Bears—Pocket-size Pets
If you are planning on purchasing a small pet for your kids or family, and are looking for a pet that is cute, friendly and fun, then you should consider a Sugar Bear.
What Are Sugar Bears?
The scientific name for Sugar Bears is Petaurus Breviceps, which is a species of small and tree dwelling marsupial. They are mainly native to countries, including Australia, Indonesia, New Guinea, and Tasmania. Sugar Bears are known by this name because they are fond of sweet food and, also, they love to glide even from a height. These Sugar Bears are also known as ‘pocket pets,’ because of the following two reasons. Firstly, they are small in size and, secondly, they like being carried in pockets or pouches. That is why many Sugar Bear owners keep these charming animals in their pockets to carry them wherever they go. These cute little critters are marsupials, which are young ones that are born immature. These immature babies develop in a mother’s punch until they become capable of surviving even without their mother’s body. These pocket pets are approximately 5-6 inches long and weigh around 4-6 ounces.
Isn't he the cutes thing you've ever seen???

This shot was kinda funny actually. I really was geared up and energized to shoot a coffee splash. I used to love to do these and hadn't done one in a very long time.
So, I packed up my gear and headed out. Where else do you get a great perfect cup of coffee? Starbucks right? YUUUP. So there I was. Triple Venti White Chocolate Mocha in my hands and ready to....DO WHAT??? Intentionally spill this all over the street? I think not.
Here you go, my coffee splash alternative. I suppose consuming the 800 calories was more important to me....this time. We haven't heard the last of the coffee splash notion.

This was definitely a plus from my trip to J. C. Arboretum in Raleigh, NC. yesterday & a strong shot to use for my project 50, I had to be patient though, this was one of two shot's taken of the Koi Goldfish pond.

Check It Out!!! My 7D posts a shot for this project...haha And be honest, we all saw one of these shots coming to give the brain a break.
Anyway.
I talk to a lot of people who want to be something they aren't. I'm not referring to anyone trying to do anything specifically, but you know those people.
I also talk to a lot of people who want to grow in photography and I consider myself in that group. I still learn something new every day I shoot and that's the biggest motivator for me.
BUT, as anyone who has been shooting for any length of time or knows enough to be dangerous with a camera can may tell you....the toughest thing to learn is to see something differently than you did before. If you can do that AND get it on in your little box then you're already ahead of the curve.
After all, having a camera makes you a photographer about the same as a hammer and a handful of nails makes you a carpenter.

We all possess the thunder of pure fury and the calm breeze of tranquility.
If it wasn't for tomorrow, how much would we get done today?
Whatever your purpose... embrace it completely.
Get lost in the clouds every now and then so you never lose sight of God's wonder.

Projet 50/50/50 - 21 / 50 (17 oct 2012)
Tables pulled to the restaurant after it closed on Berlin's fancy Friedrichstrasse. Seen on my way back to my hotel.

My grandma had a wish to have a good looking image of my grandpas grave for a long time. She wants an image which she can put in her pocket and always carry with herself.
Therefore we went to the cemetery. In contrast to received opinion it is full of live, rife with lives of little squirrels. And they are very trustingly! Regrettably we hadn't had much time and for this reason, I took just this single photo. But personally I believe that I defiantly will come back!

I haven't been feeling to good today, but I went outside long enough to take this picture of the present my youngest son Karriem bought me two days ago.
Hopefully i will feel better tomorrow.
This is Ms. Monnie, she came to me sad & almost crying Aj her cousin had done something to her.
She told me she would let me take her picture but she didn't want to look or smile.
This is just by window light through the curtain in my bedroom.
I'm told that some people get a Buzz from smoking so,
If you must smoke, take your butt outside.
~Author Unknown~
I wanted to do a toy shot like I've seen so many times here on Flickr & the sun was in the perfect spot on the back porch so I didn't need the whole light setting get up to do this.
Grabbed Buzz took two shots when I noticed Jeff's cousin Greg smoking a cigarette, he was about done so I say hey you don't need that but I need the element for my Project50 shot, so I relieved him of his filthy cancer stick & sort of gave Buzz a Hott foot, lol.
My shot was done, I was happy & now I feel even better because I can sort of say I struck a blow for Breast Cancer, well cancer period, I even put the butt out, lol.
Hmmm EspressoDoms, Ainsley Joseph, David Dahlin, Isayx3, Grizzly D & some others I can't recall do these type's of shots & I admire there work
