Waiting and Thinking.. Gare Centrale Bruxelles
After a nice and chilly night out in central Brussels, my flickr buddy Gert Goovaerts insisted that I should shoot this image. I must admit that I’m very happy that I drudgingly obliged.
Processed in B/W, or rather in Gert’s spirit.

Dave set out to complete number 9 from his "50 things to do before you\'re 11 3/4" project (www.flickr.com/photos/underexp0sed/sets/72157644086361455) but got sidetracked and found a magical banana in the Caribbean! He was so excited he was parading it through London before I tracked him down.
Thanks to Andy [inFocus] for his editing help again!
Dave shot on grey base and background strobist: 580exii socked beauty dish camera right 1/4 50mm, lastolite trigrip reflector camera left. masked with topaz labs and layered onto stock photo of London bridge.

Update: It seems there are some massively over sensitive people out there who have informed me that they find this image a little close to the edge, or it's 'adult nature' is disturbing… wtf? It's hardly what I would describe as disturbing — Man up! And if you don't like it don't look at it.

Ez a Tankcsapda klasszikus jutott eszembe / This is a famous Hungarian song. "Life is the best poison":
'Your Host'
Done. Finished. Expired.
I never thought that shooting 50 photographs over 50 days with a fixed focal length could be so challenging. I think the main stress is trying to find something interesting to capture, You work a full day, you get home, you sort your home life out, then make a photo. It's tough, try it.
Looking back through the 50, maybe i chose the wrong time of year to shoot. It's been grey, raining, dull and cold, Summer photos are always eye candy, It's easier to shoot with the amazing light and we are all way more active in summer, making our lives look more interesting.... I guess that leads me to say it's made hibernating fly by!
My final note: I want to thank anyone who has taken time to view/comment/favourite these photo's and follow me.
A crazy thanks go to those who were the subject.
Signing off.

Well 1st I want to say that I have been inspired by most of my Friends / Contacts here on Flickr.
So in no specific order I will be paying tribute to a few of you!
Just keep looking you may be in there some where.
Today's shout out goes to Rick Nunn who is a fantastic photographer & he is how I found out about Project50. Check him out when you can.
Also the tribute shot goes to D_Breezy who has decided to broaden his horizons & venture into new things, I saw the shot he posted today & fell in love!
Do to the fact that I haven't felt good & the rain I shot these two today but the idea I got from him.
My alternate shot is in the comments as well.
Visit my blog. www.tonyablowe.wordpress.com
I could have stayed here forever, the light was amazing & the colors it reflected eternal the calm peace of tranquility echoed against the light.

Stones & Flowers I
Jep, like I said yesterday, this is the last image of the Stones & Flowers series. And on the whole, I would say it is one of the best. :)
A new school year will start tomorrow, let's see how I can handle this combined with editing the next handful images.
People who fly into a rage always make a bad landing.

You want attitude?
Well I got plenty!
This is Ms. Monnie my granddaughter all of age 3, it's been raining & not being able to go out stresses us all.
She was standing near the window & I asked her to turn around so I could take her picture & she gave me this look...
She doesn't know, I'll take whatever I get from that little face, lol.

Shame to say, there aren't going to be many more chances in 2012 to pull this off. Cooler and cooler every day. I scheduled a shoot the other day thinking that 6:00 to start would give me a good hour of shooting in the golden hour....no so fast scooter. By 6:50, it was blue hour and my light was nowhere to be found.
So, if you've got it, enjoy it...I know I would.
