Description of what your intent was: Simulate a photo of a driving brochure underground parking garage shot of a Kia Soul.
4. Use of Shallow DOF
Intention: Capture a shallow depth of field where there is a very narrow area of focus.
Reading: The reading indicates that a large aperture is necessary for capturing a shallow DOF.
Edit: Eliminated red/orange flecks by changing them to green using hue/saturation adjustments.
Outcome: Successful capture of shallow DOF where the focus is positioned along the rule of thirds with proper exposure.
Another shot of my "Studio". This shows how I try and keep myself organized but always seem to fail.

What I wanted to get out of this picture was the straight line of the neck of the guitar and the stings and a little but of the curvature of the body.
The goal was to demonstrate ISO 100 on my camera. The shot could have been improved by taking this in more light. I adjusted levels and saturation the same across all 4 ISO pictures.

I took this picture at work. It is one of 2 rain chains we have on the property. I loved the rugged look of the chain against all of the wild flowers in the background out of focus, showing all the colors.
