Intention: I wanted to create contrast with the wood against the necklace piece, but I really wanted to try and capture the black shadows on the top and bottom of the photo to make it seem mysterious and almost like it is floating.
Text Reference: Since the necklace piece is rather small, I wanted to focus on also trying to make it seem small by referencing what Freeman stated in The Photographer’s Eye regarding Placement, “The importance of placement increases as the subject becomes smaller in the frame.”
Outcome: The level of contrast and the compositional placement follows the Rule of 3rds and is artistically appealing.
Edits: Exposure adjustment, Contrast boost, Black boost, highlight boost, Purple and Magenta saturation boost, Orange and Yellow saturation decrease slightly, slight vignette, slight grain boost, clarity boost
The goal was to demonstrate ISO 800 on my camera. The shot could have been improved by taking this in more light. I adjusted levels and saturation the same across all 4 ISO pictures.

Lots of light. Mid day.
The grey monochromatic scheme is enhanced by the texture of the tiny gravel with flecks of blue and orange and varying shades and values of grey.
I like how the clouds are scattered throughout the sky, and how the trees almost frame the bottom of the image.
ISO: 180
Aperture: f/10
Shutter Speed: 1/25 sec
Intent: Capture a face of nature , Time of Day: Afternoon Sunny
Taken from: Andrew Ting's "I am."
Used the same words in succession to create the scentence "I AM MIAMI"
I feel like it gives off a beachy vibe due to the font: www.fontspace.com/rick-mueller/ocean-view" and the bright colours.
