The goal was to demonstrate deep depth of field. Freeman says shorter focal lengths give images with better depth of field than do longer focal lengths, so I used 35mm setting on my lens. I think it did a pretty good job at keeping everything in focus, but I think a different angle would have made this photo more interesting. I adjusted levels and saturation and cropped the picture.
The goal was to demonstrate ISO 400 on my camera. The shot could have been improved by taking this in more light. I adjusted levels and saturation the same across all 4 ISO pictures.
I laid vases on top of a mirror in order to capture their reflections, lines and colors.

5. Use of DOF
Intention: Capture a deep depth of field where everything in the image is in focus.
Reading: The reading indicates that a small aperture is necessary for capturing a deep depth of field with a wide range of focus.
Edit: Brought up shadows, dodged/burned highlights/shadows in areas where I wanted to increase visibility and draw attention to lines and textures. Tinted shadows blue.
Outcome: Successful capture of a deep DOF where everything is in focus. Good exposure, followed rule of thirds. Leading lines to focal point at lower right rule-of-thirds intersection, lots of texture.
This photo, part of my "studio" shows my art supplies. Any form of art makes me happy and makes me who I am.
I tried to make a water fall of honey, not enough of it and not a big nozzle detracted this deluge. Also I did this on

I liked how the colors stand out on the white background and how I was able to line them up.

Try to emphasise the happy mood by bright colours.

Fact: Estimated number of parking spaces per car in the United States: 3 (Harper's Index, Harper's Magazine Vol 324 Issue 1942 (2012) p11)
To give a visual representation of the fact there is a car resembling a Hummer, a stereotypical American car, parked across 3 car park spaces on an angle. I thought this would be cool and original but many other people thought of very similar ideas. The car being parked crooked both visually shows the 3 spaces that each car can occupy whilst showing behavior that a typical American would do.
The car is yellow to draw in attention so that it is the first thing a viewer would notice. The car also stands out because it is crooked, breaks across intersecting and continuous lines, and bridges between the blue of the top half and grey of the bottom, making it stand out.
The font was chosen for its legibility and resemblance to fonts seen in car park signage. The number 3 and words 'PER CAR' are larger and red to put emphasis on the number and focus of the statement. The fact was also reworded to read better as a complete sentence.
The blue background was chosen to fill in the otherwise blank background behind the text but also resembles a background sky.
