Measure twice and cut once, this is never so important when you don't have many spares and can't run to the local lumber store for more.

I'm not sure if I like the extra green side stripe on the panel or not...kinda just looks like a ribbon...? I tihnk I'm gonna remove it and try something else...

3D Pavement Art Experience

It's almost finished! All I lack now is curtains and cushions for the sofa. This vintage cigar box dollhouse comes with the sofa, chair and coffee table - all hand painted and antiqued - highlighted with green crackle paint. The floor is real wood with the tiniest little "nail" holes where the pieces of wood connect. The light is LED battery operated and is held on by tacky wax so it can be moved around, as desired. The window is a classic old casement style with working panes. The exterior flowers are handmade with paper :)

Thanks for looking! Tori

The begining of quilting madness! Four sections. Log cabin comes to mind while quilting the four section!

Nerve wracking seam ripping along those biased triangles, balanced with the pleasure of those sweet little geese in a row.

I love how these photos turned out, but this was an absolutely miserable, god-awful day. The weather was not good when we left the guesthouse room and it got much worse as the day progressed. When we arrived at Jokulsarlon it was drizzling and windy. We stayed outside for a few minutes but my wife was freezing so we retreated to a warm car.

Jokulsarlon is an interesting place - it is a big glacial lagoon with a small outlet canal that connects with the Atlantic Ocean. Icebergs float about 500 yards to the open ocean or end up on Diamond Beach. Initially the tide was coming in, so none of the icebergs were moving, but it was like someone flipped a switch and the tide reversed. Slowly at first the icebergs started moving to the ocean. Pretty soon a bunch of them were racing in the channel. It was fascinating. The rain and wind had also picked up. I would spend 5-10 minutes in the car, make a mad dash to shelter under a bridge, hiding behind a support to get out of the wind and rain. I have good rain gear but it was miserable.

I told Heather that it might sound stupid, but if I didn't go to Diamond Beach I would always regret it, so I headed to the beach. I was being blown backwards, couldn't see anything since the rain was now horizontal and stinging. My camera was tucked inside my rain jacket. I made it to the beach and it was amazing. Some chunks of ice had washed up already and were laying on the black sand beach. Wow. Others were being tossed in the waves and came crashing in. I was snapping pictures but had no idea how, or if, they would come out. I lasted about 15 minutes until I couldn't feel my fingers so I headed back to the car. What a great experience but we called it a day by about noon and headed back to the nice, warm room to thaw out.

I took these photos in mid-September 2021. I am so jealous of the people that hit this area in good weather!

LOTS of handpainting.

Imperial Guard Valkyrie, a work in progress with tons still to do.

If you can see progress anywhere in Rotterdam, it's here on the Wilhelminapier, where many high rises go up. Taken from the Erasmusbrug.

Estoy preparando una boda y esto es lo que estaba haciendo la semana pasada, ahora ya tengo cosidas 25, me faltan 32 que me puliré esta semana y listas para enviar a unos novios muy especiales y románticos...

Nov. 2010. About 42x56. Very harsh photo of my progress. The main body of this granny afghan is done. I still need to thread in ends and do the edging. I also plan to add a crocheted kitty for personalization. I took the design idea from an afghan featured in Mary Maxim's 2010 catalog. The goal was to use up yarn from 2 other afghans. Based on the amount I still have, I have another afghan to make.

The stars aligned and I moved past the two places that were confusing me. I did shred one thread doing the first sewing. I'll fix that later.

working on something and realized this is cooler looking than the actual project.

Tattoo in progress by adrian Lee.

Finished more of the room box this weekend. These tiny things were really fun to make!

Trying to shape the fuselage into one, with both 2C and NC putty. The P-38 canopy also needs some treatment, since it is rather wide for the small fuselage, but its shape is almost perfect for the Me 334 and it is the option I currently have at hand.

In the background the radiator intake grille for the snout can be seen - a fine plastic mesh has been glued to the frame (an air intake from a Su-25...), so that the cooling fan behind can be seen. Nice detail which rather evolved accidently. ^^

I started getting into fitness around April of 2012, then I started training to compete Muay Thai, boxing and mma about 5 months ago. These pictures are the progress I've made. I've def had some slip ups with my diet but every day is a new one and I never give up.

I will reveal these little guys next thursday!

Progress in India has been rapid.
