Empiezo el 2oo9 planteándome una nueva serie... a ver lo que da de sí (estoy seguro de que ya está hecho algo parecido en algú otro rincón del mundo... pero bueno, yo a lo mío... jj)

It has been a while since I have tried an exotic manipulation of one of my photos, so here we go. This started as a photo of yellow-headed and red wing blackbirds on a fence post. I used the "glowing edges" filter in Photoshop Elements to create this effect. This shot had a shallow depth of field and the filter darkened everything that had a soft focus so the center of the image seemed to pop from the background. The original photo was taken at Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Idaho in May 2025.
Taken last Thursday (17/03/2016) at Sunset out on Dartmoor at Beckamoor Cross, or as its more romantically know Windy Post, standing just short of 8 feet and alongside the Grimstone and Sortridge Leat this is a great photography location, given the right light and composition it can produce a wonderful photograph, I'm still trying to do it justice! :o)

Hello! Hope you're all well. It's been a couple of months since my last post, with the last throes of my degree course taking up most my spare time and annual leave. Hopefully I'll have chance to start getting out and about with my camera again after my exams in a coupel of weeks (just in time for the worst time of year for cathcing sunrises!).
In the meantime here are a few more from my last outing back in february - a pleasingly misty morning in the Peak District.
