Found this along the Clinch River Highway over near Fort Blackmore, Virginia a few months ago. Looks like its days are numbered.
Abandoned Post Office in Cisco Ghost Town. The town started in the 1880s as a saloon and water-refilling station for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. Grand County, Utah.

After hiking to Post Oak Falls at Easter break and finding nothing but a moist wall and barely a trickle of water, I thought I would try again after the record rains that hit north Texas and southern Oklahoma in May. That turned out well as this small fall was running at its maximum. It had been drizzling that day as well, so everything was wet which made for more saturated colors. I decided this is going to be the last one posted for a while ... I don't want to rush the serie ... scanning the negatives i discover a new world ... and I am a little bit on the choc it is mine ... and all your response gave me something new I don't know how to handle ... I think I am gone for a journey I do not measure the importance yet ... and I feel the need to take distance ... these are of 4 years ago ... I want to discover where I am now ...

Aquest lloc és força unic, com a mínim per al Mediterrani, crec. Un petit mar conectat per un tunel natural de roca amb el "mar exterior", es a dir, la resta del Mediterrani. Es troba al extrem oest de l'illa de Gozo, a Malta. En maltès es coneix com il-Qawra (o també id-Dwejra).
Per la part de dins, com podeu veure, hi ha una platjeta de codols així com embarcadors i cases de pescadors. Es pot agafar una barca, com varem fer nosaltres, i travessar el tunel fins a mar obert. El tunel deu tenir uns 50 metres de llarg, i amb prou feines i passa una barca. Per la part de mar obert, tot son estimbats inaccessibles a banda i banda.

This place is quite unique, at least for the Mediterranean Sea, I think. A small sea connected by a natural rock tunnel to the "outer sea", that is, the rest of the Mediterranean. It is located at the western end of the island of Gozo, in Malta. In Maltese it is known as il-Qawra (or also id-Dwejra).
On the land side, as you can see, there is a small pebble beach as well as piers and fishermen's houses. You can take a boat, as we did, and cross the tunnel to the open sea. The tunnel must be about 50 meters long, and a boat can barely pass through. On the open sea side, it is all inaccessible cliffs on both sides.
There are so many posts holding up the roof on the pier that it’s amazing that there’s room for people to sit and eat. Then again, with the wind that day, it’s a good thing there was something keeping the roof attached. Polaroid I-2, Polaroid I-Type Color film.
