A World War Two observation post (right) overlooks the outer wall of the Castillo San Cristobal in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
A true example of faith and neighborly love. If one of the neighbors has a need they want to be prayed about, they just write it on one of the cards provided and place it in the box. Then the person or persons that provided the Prayer Post will pray about that need. It is strictly on a voluntary basis.
And as the sign at the bottom of the post states: God does Love you!

Been wanting to try this for a while. So had the 10 stop on to smooth the water out. Only thing I could have done with is alot more movement in the water to create a mistyness around the bottom of the post.
I showed this to my wife all full of excitment at my new thing that I had done and got the following responce... Its a stick and the bottoms all blurred.... Oh well shes probably right.
All processed using silverefex pro. Quite a few control points to selectively brighten some water areas and contrast added to the post. Might try again later with it as its good to learn!!
Again, no long description. Like 'Open Water,' this is in the same style somewhat in addition to location. I'm also quite tired from all that writing and should save it for more significant photos anyway =P

What an afternoon! We did a lovely circular drive around the Lake District, and luckily I chose to do it an anti-clockwise direction. Our last stop was Derwentwater (at Keswick) where there was a glorious low-hanging mist - had we gone there first, earlier in the day, we would've seen nothing, as the town had been covered in thick fog which only lifted as the sun began to set.

I love the fancy dado joint on this corner post, also the bark sloughing off the underside of the rough-hewn diagonal support. Photographed at the southwest corner of the intersection of Avery and Elm Valley roads in Three Oaks Township, Berrien County, Michigan.
Purported to the smallest post office in the US, it operated from 1878 and 1953. So named for all of the postmasters that worked there of the same name.
At one point it was moved to the top of Whiteside Mountain, in the background, but was eventually moved to its current location near Cashiers, NC after being restored.
