Post Office pillar box number BB1012 in front of Banbury Town Hall
The fluted design for the Birmingham and Southern District dates from 1856, the design being modified in 1857 to incorporate what was to become the conventional horizontal posting slot. This particular pillar is though to date from 1856 and was awarded Grade II listed building status on 14th February slot.
This particular pillar is dates from 1857 and was moved to its present location after restoration on 25th November 1974. It was awarded Grade II listed building status on 14th February 1986

A sexy lamp-post.It's monday.One of the first days i've gone out of the house to take photographs.After having been sick and poorish, it was a liberation.Almost a revelation.I kinda looked at things a little different.And every single photograph was in portrait mode !?
We see a lit lamp-post right across from where the new city hall is in the town of Temse (Tamise in French) in Belgium.
Where once a shipyard layed, houses have risen.Some with a view on the river.The river "Schelde" /L'escaut (in French).That view is for the privileged.The fortuned ones.
We, we take it all in.
