It seems posting about religion that is not pro-religion is considered unacceptable and offensive/triggering to people here who are religious. All well and good, but the same applies in reverse too. My 2c on the matter.
Please humor me with one or two more postings from the Dallas Blooms event this week in Dallas, TX. I am a Fort Worth boy at heart - so I usually don't brag on Dallas too often - but I have to make an exception for this years Dallas Blooms - it is magnificent. So I felt like it deserved a few more photos.
This is a small sample of one of the Tulip beds at Dallas Bloom this year. The real challenge was trying to decide what to actually focus on. The other challenge was that our whole family went together - which meant the my daughter, son and I fought over the use of the Nikon all day. (I thought we each patiently waited our turn - my wife thought we were fighting)... Knowing I would have limited camera time - since my wife and I really want to support our kids in their love for photography - I decided to take along our little Canon Powershot A530. it takes nice photos - but just doesn't handle the close-ups I like.
Dallas Blooms is an annual Spring event held from early March to mid April each year by the Dallas Arboretum. This year celebrates the 25 anniversary of the event. Their marketing info said there were over 450,000 bulbs, each one hand-planted, 75,000 annuals, and more than 2,000 varieties of azaleas (the largest publicly-maintained collection in the country) at this years event.

This posting box is actually outside the Royal Mail Delivery Office, rather than the Post Office which is in the Co-op. I guess that this building may have been the Post Office previously, but not certain!
I think there was probably a stamp machine where the grey cover is, on the left of the picture.

2. Submissions can be mobile or DSLR photos. All submissions are due today.

4. We have not announced any details on wining one ticket to the Dallas premier with Emily. If you win, you must get yourself to Dallas and hotel is not included.

You can interpret our heaven theme the way you want! Be creative because it's your personal interpretation of how you see or view heaven.
We will select four finalists from our heaven theme. Josh will then fly to Hollywood to present the four final images where two winners will be selected to win a Sony QX10 Camera. The winners will be chosen by Colton Burpo, the young man who is the subject of this bestselling book and movie. This is Colton's story!
