Today's Daily Posting - Make a photograph of something cold today. Ice cubes, frosty beverages, or the freezer aisle at the grocery store. So what the heck is this?

It's the latest thing in ice packs - little plastic "peas" sealed in a pouch that you can put in your freezer. I use it on my bad knee (soon to be replaced). To get this shot, I held the ice pack up to the light - and look what I got! Pretty cool, huh?

Make a photograph of a Bank note, either from the country you are in or one you visited

Thanks to Rusty Marvin for the inspiration ... flic.kr/p/bd5kii

I'm expecting a knock on the door - isn't it illegal to photograph bank notes???

My husband, whom I adore, grew up in the Great Depression. He believes in using things up. I have seen his old, patched gloves for a long time,. but today, I felt like weeping when I really saw them. I was in our basement, on the treadmill, and there they were, on the wood pile, as they always are. The old leather and contrasting shiny duct tape seemed to make a statement about the generations, while capturing the light and my husband's essence. He later told me these gloves are 25 years old and have been patched over and over. I love this man and this shot.

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately, Im currently trying to get back on track with regards to photography. My current Job role has changed so now Im working more sociable hours and I am going to use this to the best of my advantage with regards to my photography. Im excited about getting to get more involved with the creative side of me that I lost for a while.

I went from point guard to "small" power forward.

whilst posting images taken on a recent visit to Stannington I realised that I had posted only one image from my first visit - so here's a few from back then.

I'm posting this "set" of photos to help people get an idea of what goes into the jewelry and sculptures I make, and to give people a little peek into my studio, or in this case, a close-up view of my jewelry workbench, and my trusty half-round file! This was actually taken on an UNcluttered bench day!

I work in many different mediums, but plastic is one of my favorites. It is a time consuming material to work with, but I love the results.

My work is available for sale online at www.etsy.com/shop/daisyvisionxxx

If you don't see the piece you like listed on Etsy, email me, or start a conversation with me on Etsy and I'll make a special listing.

I hand monogram and number each piece, as they are entirely hand made, and each is unique.
