So maybe I can call this my official first "portrait." I sort of posed her for it, although, it was sort of also a candid shot. Played around with the setting to make up for the glaring sun, made sure I didn't get her in the middle of the image, so yeah, I guess it CAN be a portrait, not sure though. I have other "first" portraits too. Guess I need to take more...

trying to be creative with baby shots. It is really difficult when it is someone else's baby ...you don't want to over step and position them in some way that the mom is getting annoyed with you. That has never been the case but I am still quite cautious and not totally comfortable with it yet. One day I will get there.
