Every now and again she will tolerate having her hair done. This often coincides when she's at her hammiest.
Bryce: We had more fun watching the people than the rocks this time they were parading up and down the switchbacks and snapping EVERYTHING. Posing space was at such a premium, it was a shared commodity!

Another shot of the dragonfly. He was quite peaceful and tolerant of me taking pictures and invading his space.

So I landed on my parcel a while back and wound up ass-deep in the waterfall in the front yard, and the first thought I had was 'hey, that might be a nice artsy photo... if I found a good place to pose my arms'. Long Awkward Pose supplied the needed pose.
And of course, the waterfall then evaporated. As has the hair I was wearing in this photo. Bah.
