A snow bunting posing for a photo (or two he he). A first for me and a first day out with the tripod so I'm happy :)

We try to get a nice picture of "baby in cute pajamas" and we end up with a toddler posing as a pin-up girl with sippy cup. I don't know where she picks these things up.

Aliya's got a peculiar way of posing. Head tilted to the side, body bent slightly, and a touch of huge infectious smile.

she's not at all afraid of objects like the camera, which is great for me!

But... I still can't come up with a new name for her. Yes she had a name but she doesn't respond to it (unlike Bayla who knew her name!) and not to mention it was a horrible bird name. (It was "Angel" - even my mom and aunt who are religious think thats a crappy bird name..heh) Problem is I don't really want a typical cutesy 'bird name' - nor really a typical person-type name.

One I'm mulling over is Saachi (pronounced sah-shee) - which is supposedly a semi-common Australian girl's name/nickname, and Goffin's are from Australia/Indonesia. But I just don't know if I like it enough.
