Took this in the living room with my canon 6d and westcott rapid box. With a little creativit, she struck a pose
My standard pose for every ship that docked at Sydney Cove Overseas Passenger Terminal. QE2 was no exception on a cloudy morning. Unfortunately the clouds were ugly on the day.

First try at this pose. It's not my favorite but she was so sleepy I knew I could try extra poses with her. Both Mom's hands are on baby at all times. One is under the blanket keeping the elbows supported. The other hand was placed with fingers supporting the neck and was photoshopped out afterwards. There were also extra diaper clothes rolled up and placed under her bottom. Because of the Mom's hand, it's taken at a slight angle instead of straight on. I think it would have been more difficult to remove the hand had it been blocking part of the body.
