Such a wonderful day seeing this Northern Hawk-owl, and it gave ample poses to capture it in. We even saw it catch two voles.

I was passing what was apparently a candle shop when I noticed customers asking the merchants to pose for an iphone photo....I shot through the front window rather than going into the shop.

"Kat" co-operates and poses for me, The freezing outside temperatures did not appeal so she is content to be indoors today.
We took a little trip to the Hogle Zoo and spent a couple of hours looking at the animals. One with a lot of personality was this Meerkat posing on top of a mound.
