One of the more elusive birds in my garden, a male Satin Bowerbird. They, like Lyrebirds, mimic sounds. They are shy, very shy and very rarely allow themselves to be seen by humans. Females are more easily seen but equally shy and timid.

Pose is from ANA POSES : Chemnitz 1 (baseball bat inclued in fatpack)

Available at TMD

This is not the same bird folks, but a pose I liked so very much, so here it is.

ope that everyone is well and everyone had a great and safe weekend, and a very Happy Monday to all.

Its so difficult to make good portraits.......pffffff, still have lots to learn!!!!

Recently went on a wildlife photography trip with my Father and brother to Colorado. Saw plenty of these little squirrels all over the trails. This one happened to pose perfectly for me.

Posing

Getting all these images out there slowly.

Taken with my old battered MKIV, nothing will image stabilize with it, errors occasionally , and yet a lot of my best images from those amazing two days were taken with it.

Talk of equipment is gubbins , proximity , important , luck is essential, what ever equipment you have you can't do without luck.

Of course luck comes with preparation , thanks to Mark Hughes for that ,markhughesimages.net/
