Cerkiew pod wezwaniem Narodzenia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Gorajcu z XVI w. należy do najstarszych obiektów drewnianego budownictwa cerkiewnego w Polsce. Cerkiew została zbudowana w 1586 roku i mogła być pierwotnie cerkwią filialną parafii w Żukowie. Pierwsza potwierdzona informacja o niezależnej parochii w Gorajcu pochodzi z przywileju króla Zygmunta III z 18 listopada 1618 r. Była to budowla trójdzielna, na planie prostokątnym, z jedną kopułą nad nawą. Babiniec zwieńczony był niższą od kopuły wieżą dzwonniczą, sanktuarium przekryte sklepieniem kolebkowym. Obok sanktuarium istniało pastoforium. Charakterystycznym elementem wnętrza była, zachowana do dzisiaj, stała przegroda ikonostasowa, w XVII w. pokryta polichromią. W końcu XVII w. w świątyni stanął nowy ikonostas architektoniczny, zasłaniając na przeszło 200 lat pierwotne malowidła na ścianie ikonostasowej. Cerkiew ma konstrukcję zrębową i posadowiona jest na kamiennej podmurówce. Stojąca przy północno-wschodnim boku cerkwi drewniana dzwonnica z 1860 została tu przeniesiona w 1994 z Majdanu Sieniawskiego.
These pods will turn brown...inside are shiney black seeds that will become more basic daylilies, as both pod and pollen parents are Frans Hal,(pollinated by me), a sturdy yellow and orange midseason daylily, from our garden.
These are seed pods of the Yucca filamentosa photographed in mid-August. Every year there are spectacular blooms and and seed pods in abundance in the golden sandy loam / gravel soil, in which these seem to do well.

I love my guitars, but I wonder I cannot make progress even though I play a guitar for a long time.
I'm going to build DTM environment now. I think that my song is duller than my photos, but I love to work for them. Of course, I love to also take photos.

Water, sugar and vanilla seeds and pod shell into a flat saucepan or skillet which has sufficient girth for all the peach halves sitting in it comfortably without overcrowding. The amount of water needs to be adjusted to one's pan size, basically to allow the peaches to be submerged into the sugary concoction by two-thirds. While the sugar solution is heating in the pan, wash the peaches and cut into halves. Do not halve the peaches too early as oxidation sets in quickly causing the creamy flesh to turn brown. Bring the vanilla syrup to a boil and lower the flame to a gentle simmer before gingerly placing the peach halves into the pan, cut side down.
The fall is when the pods of the milkweed let soft fluffy seeds go. Hopefully more milkweed in the spring for the Monarch butterflies.

The Octonaut Pod bed is one of my favourite beds to date. We had a lot of fun designing and building this very Bespoke bed for a little boy who loves all that is Octonauts.
The Mer-Pod
Mermaid month just isn't the same this year but we are still managing to get a few things in. Virginia and her brothers brought along some friends again to make a nice big pod of merfolk to shoot. Here are Virginia, her brothers Anthony and Matthias, Their friend Jade and her trio of kittens, Heidi, Penelope, and Ellsie.
