The unproductive gardener. That's me, but at least I grew four bean pods and got a cool photo.

From our garden in July.

Finding some time for photography during my very busy time. I am working very hard during lock-down period. All work is done remotely from home though.

Back again after few days. I took a few days off because sometimes Flickr is overwhelming and takes a lot of time out of my days. I just post no more than two photos a day because that.

I find Maple (Acer) seed pods more beautiful than the flowers it produces in spring. A maple leaf is on the coat of arms of Canada, and is on the Canadian flag. The maple is a common symbol 🍁 of strength and endurance and has been chosen as the national tree of Canada.

A pod of Killer Whales (Orcinus orca) swims in search of salmon or other prey along the west shores of Alaska near Juneau, U.S.A.

The male is easily identified by the tall, straight dorsal fin and this pod was observed during a recreational cruise to Alaska.

Our Quaker parrots sure did love peas, pods & all. For those that don't know Rio unfortunately escaped out of the aviary & Ginny was pining so we found a new home for her with another mate. Lots more pics of both of them in my "Furry & Feathered Friends" album.

Uploading for Smile on Saturday group 😃 The theme today is "Green Animals". Have a great weekend everyone!

found some dried out seed pods in my garden from my canna lillies. They are so beautiful in this state so I popped them on the windowsill in this soft light. HMM y'all!

Crazy about the datura plant, so of course the seed pod is a big part of their story,

Many thanks for stopping by. Have a great new week.

Rodeado de nieve, este precioso Pinzón se posó un instante, lo justo para poder sacarle dos fotos.

Fringilla coelebs is surrounded by snow in Sierra Espuña, Murcia.

One of the Yucca seed pods I collected while visiting New Mexico this summer. It looks pretty dried out so I thought it would be perfect for the Macro Monday's theme this week.

BTW: A week of having COVID and I'm so done with it. I dodged the bullet for 3 1/2 years and it finally caught me. I'm still testing positive at Day 8 but at least I'm feeling better, I'll be catching up soonest.

I shot this in total darkness without seeing what I was shooting at!

Hiking the short river trail on a cloudy afternoon and noticed these pods "hiding" along the trail. A little snow, soft bokeh and backlite like it was intentional.

(Liquidambar styraciflua) One dry seed pod of the sweetgum tree. (I can't wait to see the corona virus dead like this pod)

Thanks for your visit and taking the time to comment so I can visit your photos, too... very much appreciated! Have a great day!🙋‍♀️

Moment captured at Boerner Botanical Gardens in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. (USA)

Late afternoon, early December.

I loved the look of this seed pod (from an agapanthus). Looked like a little bunch of aliens in a boat :)
