Purple Gallinule using it’s wings to balance as it walks through the water plants in the Everglades. They are vegetarians and eat the plants and sardines pods.

Finding some time for photography during my very busy time. I am working very hard during lock-down period. All work is done remotely from home though.
Lavender Pods is an arrangement of pods on a light box. the image was inverted and a filter applied.
Back again after few days. I took a few days off because sometimes Flickr is overwhelming and takes a lot of time out of my days. I just post no more than two photos a day because that.
I find Maple (Acer) seed pods more beautiful than the flowers it produces in spring. A maple leaf is on the coat of arms of Canada, and is on the Canadian flag. The maple is a common symbol 🍁 of strength and endurance and has been chosen as the national tree of Canada.

This ridge is just less than 2 inches wide and is a portion of a giant seed pod which I brought home from Jamaica a very long time ago. The actual seed pod is about 1 1/2 foot long and came from a big tree with beautiful red flowers. It broke in half during the flight and the closed portion still has seeds in them, I can hear them ratting about.

Despues de comer buscamos el rincon mas fresco de la casa junto a la entrada del patio , cerre los ojos oia como caia el agua de la fuente y de lejos escuchaba el viejo tocadiscos de la biblioteca , Tim estaba en casa y para el la musica debia poder ser escuchada por todo ente viviente.
Senti como Simbi se subio encima mio, y entonces empezo nuestro ritual , yo cerre los ojos y el me miraba , podia sentir su mirada y como siempre despues de unos minutos asi nuestras respiraciones se acompasaban y nos adormeciamos con la calma de la tarde, estos eran nuestros verdaderos momentos de verano .
Dnes krátko pred 5-tou hodinou rannou prekročil Česko-Slovenskú hranicu zvláštny vlak pod názvom Retro Train, v čele ktorého sa ukázala kedysi žilinská "žehlička" 110.021 a 749.247.
Jedná sa o druhý ročník výletneho vlaku, naprieč najkrajšími slovenskými železničnými traťami. Trasa vlaku je naplánovaná z Prahy cez Čadcu-Vrútky-Kremnicu-Zvolen-Muráň-Humenné-Margecany-Telgárt-Banskú Bystricu-Vrútky a späť do Prahy.

BTW: A week of having COVID and I'm so done with it. I dodged the bullet for 3 1/2 years and it finally caught me. I'm still testing positive at Day 8 but at least I'm feeling better, I'll be catching up soonest.
