These pods have been falling for the last week or two. We had a particularly hot day yesterday, and it seems to have accelerated this process.

Highlight of our trip.
Our whale watching two hour tour was seeing the usual, whakle at a great distance, coing up for air and disappearing just as you located them. Then the incredible happened. A pod of orcas approached our boat head on, five or 6 abreast. The passed the boat quickly, then they returned to sim along side the boat for a good half hour. Diving under it and coming up on the other side. Putting on a real show for us.
Our tour guide had his camera out...and when that happens you know you are skiing something special. We stayed out an hour longer than scheduled to enjoy this unexpected treat.
The orcas were in te area to feed on the fish which were very plentiful.

T18/19 pod of Bigg's Killer Whales spotted near Sidney, BC.
At first only Spouter (T19C) and Mooyah (T19) were seen feeding near a kelp bed. They then moved away, and joined up with the T18 pod of Galiano (T19B) and Esperanza (T18). When they all joined up, they were very far away from the boat and we didn't get taht much closer as it would pin them between the boats and the shoreline.
Spouter and Galiano are brothers born to Mooyah. Esperanza is their grandmother. Spouter and Mooyah often travel together, while Galiano and Esperanza do. At first it wasn't known they were the same lineage. Esperanza is the oldest living Bigg's Killer Whale of the Pacific Northwest region, being born in ~1955! Galiano is one of the largest males and very recognizable due to his huge, slightly floppy dorsal fin with a large nick in it.

• La Justicia Terapéutica busca el bienestar psicológico y social de las personas
• El Poder Judicial mantiene y consolida una administración de justicia ágil, incluyente y de calidad.
La aplicación de la Justicia Terapéutica implica que el papel de los funcionarios Judiciales se enfoque en el bienestar psicológico de las personas, destacó la Doctora en Psicología Social Luz Anyela Morales Quintero, durante la conferencia ¿Qué es la Justicia Terapéutica? Retos y Aplicaciones.
Explicó que en México se aplica la Justicia Terapéutica, con los juzgados de drogas, como en el Estado de Nuevo León, donde se propone que las personas que cometen un delito por primera vez reciban un tratamiento psicológico a fin de evitar la reincidencia.
La implementación de la Justicia Terapéutica en otros países cambió la percepción de la ciudadanía sobre la justicia.
Detalló que la Justicia Terapéutica no solo se trata de resolver los casos, sino de contribuir para que en el mediano y largo plazo tengan un efecto directo que se refleje en la disminución de conductas delictivas.
El Poder Judicial, a través del Instituto de Estudios Judiciales y las instituciones de educación superior que forman criminólogos, abogados y psicólogos, trabajan en la difusión del término “Justicia Terapéutica”.
La Conferencia se impartió en el Aula Magna José María La Fragua del Palacio de Justicia, en el marco del II Congreso Iberoamericano de Justicia Terapéutica a celebrarse del 4 al 6 de diciembre en la ciudad de Puebla.
En el congreso participarán expertos de países como: España, Inglaterra, Portugal, Chile, Brasil, Argentina y Estados Unidos.
Con estas acciones el Poder Judicial cumple el compromiso de impartir una justicia equitativa, moderna y eficiente, cercana a las necesidades de todos.
A deputada federal Renata Abreu (Podemos-SP) e os deputados Deltan Dallagnol (PR) e Dr.Victor Linhalis (ES) participaram dos debates de propostas na Comisssão de Constituição e Justiça e Cidadania (CCJC).
O deputado Ruy Carneiro (Podemos-PB) votou pela aprovação do PLN 5/2023, que define o rateio de recursos para cobrir as despesas com o piso Nacional da Enfermagem.
Deputado Sargento Portugal (Podemos-RJ) participou da reunião da Comissão de Segurança Pública e Combate ao Crime Organizado.

Foi dia de conquista para a educação brasileira, desta vez pelas mãos do deputado Tiago Dimas (TO), que viu aprovado, na Comissão de Educação um projeto de sua autoria que trata da climatização das salas de aula da rede pública. Ele e a deputada Nely Aquino (MG) estiveram presentes na reunião deliberativa do colegiado.
Destaque do dia também para a participação do deputado Gilson Daniel (ES) na reunião da Comissão de Viação e Transporte (CVT). E para o deputado Bruno Ganem (SP), que esteve na deliberativa da Comissão de Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Sustentável (CMADs).
