Each room is called a "pod" and that is literally what it is. :) I don't mind though because it was a lot cheaper than any other options! Plus we each got our own little TV so it worked out well in the evenings.
I love pods (my latest passion) and I love hoops (another passion), so what would be more natural then combining the two and forming pod hoop earrings?
The hoops diameter is 1.5"(3.8cm), the pods diameter is 0.6"(1.5cm)
Both the pods and the hoops are 14k goldfill, the pods are created using a crochet needle and a fine goldfill wire.
I hosted tonight, so I was at camp most of the evening. I took this from the gym. If you open it to one of the larger sizes and take a look at the mountains in the background you can see a line where the trees are changing above, but not below...

These seed pods are super cool and grow in the winter on Sycamore trees after the leaves have fallen. They look like bulbs just waiting to fall off, but don't be fooled. The seemingly tenuous, fibrous threads that attach each ball to a branch are really hard to break and are poised to fall off just at the start of spring to optimize the possibility of, well, spreading its seeds!
