One of the pods on the London eye looked different. on closer inspection there was no glass . Or perhaps it escaped................
I have had such a fantastic weekend.
I could take part in a peer-to-peer counselling training of the dgti, the German Society for Transidentity and Intersexuality.
I also could meet so lovely and inspiring people.
Thank you 😄💕.
There is still a lot to be done. Let the future start.

People who wanted a high-speed thrill would collect the seed pods from the Venus plant and add a large engine and some controls. These pods had strange, anti-gravity properties. When ripe, the pods would float away from their parent tree, thus dispersing the seeds.

I've not studied Star Wars much, so I may have the wrong sort of pods and the ratio of pilots to engine pods the wrong round :D
Quiero llevar la comida a casa.
Y descansar bajo tu campo de poder dorado.

It tourned out to be a little too large but I couldn't make it smaller.
My first version was smaller

Don't laugh, Jill, but once again I do not know what this is... But I think it is a poppy... In fact, I am pretty sure it is - thanks to gracie's ephemera and @ires.
I was wandering through my father's garden (trying to avoid the sound of my mother's backdoor summer orchestra) when I came across this pod. I love the bristles on it - perhaps because I was heavily unshaven myself at the time... :)
"Milkweed Seed Pods" by Patti Deters. This photograph of a native milkweed (Asclepias) fluff was taken from my Minnesota garden in early fall. The dried pointy seed pods split open to reveal the fluffy tails on the brown seeds. presented here in a vertical format. If you like outdoor nature photography,, please see more flowers, garden, and other plants at patti-deters.pixels.com/featured/milkweed-seed-pods-patti....
This is the fully matured seed pod ready to fly. The upper Green is the safety strong layer which provide compete protection and nourishment to the seeds while the nature is in progress. The upper layer is hard green rubber like surface which have a light green upper color. The seeds are white in earlier stage then turn brown peach like surface and color. the silky hairs are the lift which take the seed in the air to take it to the new areas.
The whole process take 30 odd days i love the colors and the seed. Good luck to all of you and i hope my work will provide knowledge and entertainment both to you. Thanks

Seed pods from a Crape Myrtle tree. I think they have a certain beauty all their own. These seed pods replaced the colorful flowers that were present most of the year.
These pods are being replaced by rows of white flowers. This spring bloomer attracts mason bees. It's a good plant to have if you're looking to support nature's pollinators.

When the seed pods of the lupines dry they pop (audible) open and curl, giving some momentum to the seeds as they disperse. I shelled some for the seeds to save and give to neighbors as well as spread across the yard. Looking down on the stem of opened pods is like following a spiral staircase.

The Lotus is a flower that grows in the mud, the deeper the mud the more beautiful the Lotus Blooms.

Texture my own.
A smaller, more colourful space pod, to complement the Two Seat Manoeuvring Pod. The canopy hinges open, though you can't extract the pilot, as her shoulders are too wide! This pod came about because I was messing around with the 2463 Facet Brick, which I don't own in real bricks but might have to buy.

haha... get it? Mono-pod? monochrome picture of a seed pod! Hah!
yeah, I am a dork....
but I still think this is kind of cool.
