I happened to be carrying my macro lens when Janice found the lily pod. I took advantage of the opportunity.
This is a bunch of seeds called "seed pod". I post the Flower of these seeds earlier (See the first Comment by me is the image of that flower). These Seeds are covered with a thick green cover layer which contains Air, Moisture and a strong covering of thread like net substance. When these seed expose to the air they start turning brown like apple (may be rich in Iron). The head and the tail is cover with silver hairs Its about 3-4 inches long and Contain White milky Substance in the cover and in the plant. Very interesting to me I hope you will all like it to

Tested the knee and did some climbing, had to draw back at times....and find an alternate route up/down the trails if I could....did well enough, I think
Walking the neighborhood again seems so easy compared to what I did in northern MN. and Canada.

One of the pods on the London eye looked different. on closer inspection there was no glass . Or perhaps it escaped................
People who wanted a high-speed thrill would collect the seed pods from the Venus plant and add a large engine and some controls. These pods had strange, anti-gravity properties. When ripe, the pods would float away from their parent tree, thus dispersing the seeds.

Pod Kazimierzem Hotel was built in 1885 as a spa hotel. After the World War II it was used as a dormitory for technical school pupils while since 1994 it has been a property of the Ojców National Park.
Still playing with B&W still lives of objects found in my backyard. This is a Magnolia seed pod after the seeds are gone.
The Milkweed pods are open and sending out their seeds. I found it interesting that the pods were in different stages of being open.
