A welcome sight at any protracted incident or event. Somewhere to take some refreshment and the calls of nature.
This image of a Poppy Pod which has dried out in the garden will be used as decorations for a flower arrangement, but before that I will carefully shake out the dried poppy seeds. Then start a fresh crop of Poppy flowers again in the green house from the seeds.

despues de visitar el misterio maya vienes a éste cenote para poder bañarte libremente y descansar durante un rato en lo que se ve, luego en la zona de la entrada tiene unas cuerdas en el fondo para las inmersiones con tanque, para los buceadores, muy bello. en la zona de dos hojos hay 18 cenotes, y la mayoria se comunican subterraneamente, el delirio de los submarinistas en cuevas......

The young branches and leaves are eaten by elephant and leaves eaten by giraffe, Kudu and Nyala. The fruit pulp and seeds are very popular with brown headed and Meyer's parrots, grey louries, barbets and various hornbill species. To catch the tree in bloom is a lovely sight for humans.
...or something. the first one is in the back. each is a bit different, fabric-wise and shape wise, but they are all humpback whales, or at least my interpretation of a humpback.

21 November, 2015 - Pilot Whales Slaughter – at Taiji, Japan
Today in Taiji the Cove Guardians witnessed the slaughter of 21 Pilot Whales.
In total, since November 19th, 2015, there has been one captive taken and 32 slaughtered. Plus at least one death the hunters attempted to cove with tarps in the late afternoon.
The Cove Guardians will remain with the family as they spend their third night terrified in the cove.

A large cornfield featured a corn-maze with lots of seed pods ready to burst or fall and spread their seeds. The field itself had declined with the cool mid-October weather.
Today my younger son treated me to a day at Santa Pod drag racing track, something I've never seen before. If I thought an F-15 or F-18 fighter doing aerobatics over my head, or an F1 car passing close by at full speed was noisy, I had no idea that a top fuel dragster was mind shattering loud by comparison. I don't know why you can't see blood coming out the ears of the crowd in the grandstand around me.
Each of these machines has an engine producing around 10,000 bhp and they zip from the start on the right to the end of the track on the left in around six seconds or less. The acceleration is mind blowing and the noise makes your brain shake painfully in your skull. I wanted to capture the dragsters and the crowd but they move from right to left so fast it is hard to pan with them.........!
The only thing the Joes hate seeing more than a Flight Pod is two Flight Pods, as these two pour on the power as they blast skyward.
Zamia Floridana seeds are poisonous. Nature's warning - RED means DANGER. Processed correctly it was a source of flour for Florida local Indians.
The Boeing B-47 Stratojet is highly unusual in that it has 3 engines on each wing, 2 in one pod and this one by itself. Castle Air Museum.
