The first time I set foot on Wellingborough was in the early 80s while working in North London. On a day trip to Chesterfield, I stopped off between trains and captured this Rat with a single GUV. Today I visited the same spot for the first time since and captured a 222. Apart from the change in the interest level of the passing hardware, little else has changed. A new footbridge and lift towers, a few missing chimney pots and a lick of paint … and of course … the knitting!

Developed with DD-X - and I'm really happy that I finally am starting to get the hang of developing medium format. The first few times I tried it by utilizing a developing bag, which works well for 35 mm, but is too tricky for me when it comes to roll films. However, I realized that I, thanks to the Swedish winter being so dark, could do without the bag - and lo and behold, getting the film into the Jobo spiral then turned out to be simple as pie.

An abandoned cotton spinning mill somewhere in Wales. Abandoned for some time, not sure on the history behind it. Visited with Wiffsmiff23. Ended up doing some obscure macro work as part of the visit too.

11/07/2010 6:30 - Okinsky Rayon, vue sur la montagne Munku Sardik (3 491 mètres) au petit matin. Photo prise à une altitude de 2 000 mètres.
Le Munku-Sardyk est la plus haute montagne des monts Saïan orientaux. Il mesure 3 491 mètres et se trouve à la frontière internationale entre la Mongolie et la Russie. C'est aussi la plus haute montagne de Bouriatie et la plus haute montagne de la province de Khövsgöl en Mongolie. Au sud, la limite des arbres se situe à 2 000 mètres, du côté nord à 2 200 mètres. First flown in Nov-94 with the Airbus test registration F-WWAA, this aircraft was stored at Toulouse until it was delivered to China Eastern Airlines as B-2325 in Mar-95.
It was retired and stored at Shanghai-Hongqiao in Mar-14. The aircraft was sold to AVIC Leasing in Dec-14 and converted to freighter configuration at Dresden, Germany in Mar-16 and leased to Uni-Top Airlines, China in later the same month.
The aircraft was permanently retired at Shanghai-Hongqiao in Jun-19.
