Cloud Gate, a public sculpture by Indian-born British artist Anish Kapoor, is the centerpiece of the AT&T Plaza in Millennium Park within the Loop community area of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The sculpture and AT&T Plaza are located on top of Park Grill, between the Chase Promenade and McCormick Tribune Plaza & Ice Rink. Constructed between 2004 and 2006, the sculpture is nicknamed "The Bean" because of its bean-like shape. Made up of 168 stainless steel plates welded together, its highly polished exterior has no visible seams. It is 33 feet by 66 feet by 42 feet (10 m × 20 m × 13 m), and weighs 110 short tons (100 t; 98 long tons).
Kapoor's design was inspired by liquid mercury and the sculpture's surface reflects and distorts the city's skyline. Visitors are able to walk around and under Cloud Gate's 12-foot (3.7 m) high arch. On the underside is the "omphalos" (Greek for "navel"), a concave chamber that warps and multiplies reflections. The sculpture builds upon many of Kapoor's artistic themes, and is popular with tourists as a photo-taking opportunity for its unique reflective properties.

1. My first love hobby was badminton; I was really addicted to it until I got an ACL torn ligament injury last November 2008. I had my major operation at Makati Med. See my profile.
2. I started photography when I bought my D90 at Hidalgo, Quiapo last February 7, 2009. First photo op: Pamulinawen Festival.
Primary reason: to divert my attention while I’m in a recovery stage and while I’m not able to play.
3. And now, I’m obsessed with photography.
4. Hardcore adventurer.
5. Very health conscious.
6. I plan to be a professional wedding photographer someday (when will that be?) haha!
7. I’m easy and jolly to talk with.
8. As much as possible, I do minimal editing with my photos. But I also appreciate those who are talented and creative in improving their images using any digital alterations.

10. I joined flickr to be inspired with the work of other photographers, be it professional or amateur. Every individual has their own taste and interpretation of what art is.

So so so so so so sorry that I haven’t posted in so long! I just got home from vacation not too long ago, just to have 5 days till wisdom teeth surgery. It’s all good, and I’m recovering well, but I have something I’m going to be posting before too long. A drawing I’m working on hat I’m supa excited about!
