We're moving house! Due to the recent changes, my resin midgets and I are packing up and moving to blogspot. This has actually been a long time coming, the janky new flickr just gave me the push I needed to do it. I'm not really HTML fluent yet so Its not super purdy, but we are working on it. I hope to bring you guys lots of fun things like photostories, galleries, and dolly profiles all in one place. To those of you who are not moving, you can contact me at youtube or deviantart (these are seldom used tho). I am canceling my pro account and will only be keeping like my 50 most popular photos here. Please come join us at: andelastictoo.blogspot.com/

Literally left as-is in the middle of the sidewalk, a little dented and a lot lonely... I took his photo and then recycled him... He was greatful... He'll be heading your way as a reincarnated consumer packaged good one of these days soon...

"Scaffold," a wood & steel sculpture by the artist Sam Durant, was a composite of the representations of 7 historical gallows used in US state-sanctioned executions by hanging between 1859 and 2006. One of them being the gallows constructed in Mankato, Minnesota to simultaneously hang 38 Dakota men on December 26, 1862 on orders signed by President Lincoln following the U.S.-Dakota War. The Mankato execution is the largest one-day execution in US history.

The excruciating headache, the screaming toddler, the wondering if Rj's going to have a job tomorrow . . . all this stress is too much.
My dinner tonight is going to consist of a muscle relaxer and a beer. Hopefully I'll actually sleep through the night tonight.
Please, view on black.

Meet Copper. Those eyes do me in every time I see her. You'd think she never got any attention, or food, wouldn't you? Which couldn't be farther from the truth. She really gets tons of love and attention from EM's cousins.
Here's a fun factoid for you for my first picture of the year: when I was younger, I was terrified of dogs. There was an overly exuberant (and slightly ill-mannered) dog living on my street who liked to jump up on people. S/he knocked me over once (I couldn't have been older than 4, since we moved when I was 4 and a half), and while I don't remember the actual incident I was seriously dog-phobic for quite a long time after that. I'm pretty much over it, now, but unfamiliar dogs that are off-leash outside (like at dog parks, or the dog beach here in Annapolis) still freak me out a little bit.
HNFF!
This is not quite my style, but i really like this shot. and this khodra man was so nice!
I forgot how to attach photos in the comments! any one could help, please?

UPDATE: Please donate to help Marcia Huhta walk (and dance!) again: www.youcaring.com/marcia-huhta-654257
----------
Today we celebrate Matti and Marcia on the 50th anniversary of their wedding day.
But we're also celebrating Thanksgiving. And we can't imagine a nicer,
more attractive,
smarter,
more lovely,
and more awesome group than you to celebrate it with.
So thank you for joining us today.
We're two of Matti and Marcia's children and we're so thankful that they are our parents.
And we want to share with you why.
You see, growing up a Huhta meant that you were brave.
You had to be - because we were always bickering with each other.
But it also meant that you knew how to endure and stick together.
Because if someone from the outside picked on one of us, we ganged up on them and beat down their asses.
Growing up a Huhta meant that there was always more room at the table.
And look at all the tables in this room!
Mom and Dad taught us how to love unconditionally, without barriers or boundaries.
Growing up a Huhta meant that you were a hard-core camper.
Mom and Dad were always dragging us outdoors.
Whether we liked it or not.
Growing up a Huhta meant watching Mom and Dad dance.
Boy do they dance a lot.
To polkas. And in squares.
To waltzes, to foxtrots,
To Lindy Hop, to Charlestons...
Really, you just saw them dancing!
They're like this all the time.
Growing up a Huhta meant that you knew how to laugh.
Out loud. Even if it was at yourself.
Thanks, Mom.
Growing up a Huhta meant that you were always proud of who you are.
That comes from Dad's Finnish "Sisu".
Thanks, Dad.
So please join us in raising a glass,
Raising your hearts,
Raising your voices,
to Marcia and Matti Huhta.
Because it's the 50th aniversary of their wedding day.
Because it's Thanksgiving Day.
Becuase they mean so much to us
And we're so thankful to have them in our lives.
Please note that I used the camera out of the box so even the dates are incorrect. However, the indoor images had a lot of noise.
Today I purchased a Sony DX0 [at a very good price] and I ordered the new Sony A7RIII which means that I will not be able to buy any food during 2018 and I had to cancel my plan to get the new iPhone X. I had not expected the A7RIII to be available until May or June of 2018 so I was surprised when Sony announced that it would be available at the end of next month ... all the rumour sites got it totally wrong as they were predicting the launch of an A9S or A7SIII claiming that whatever was to be announced would be expensive. The Sony A7RIII will retail at Euro 3500 ... when I checked my records I discovered that i paid Euro 3700 for the A7RII more than two years ago.
I purchase the RX0 for a specific project due to begin in January so I have plenty of time to master it.
