Good Afternoon!
Since it is Sunday, I spent the morning making breakfast for Sandi and taking Beauty for a nice long walk out at Blue Jay point. This is another image from the Sigma dp2 Quattro camera that I have on loan from Sigma. I'll have more images later today.

I had so much fun with these. They were inspired by and created using a sculpture my Aunt made for me (she is so talented)
I made the molds from the sculpture and I was so happy with the results!
This is a photo of a pinecone that I took in class. The purpose of this photo was to capture the texture of the pinecone while having shallow depth of field. In Photoshop, I used Auto Tone and Auto Contrast. I also used the Gradient Tool to create a fade in color as you look farther down the pinecone. I like this image because it has a simple look but also captures detail.
