That's sap dripping from the ends.

Hand built slab of stoneware clay. Molded into platter. Pine cones hand molded and applied to wet clay. Glazed in waterfall glaze and fired to Cone 6

Sam has a sore paw again so i have been walking without him. I miss the little fella. So i decided to take my camera with me one day and shoot the trail we walk along with only my 50mm and from his view point. I liked this one. In fact, a little old man asked me, in broken english, if i was taking this picture for a Christmas card!
