I like the way posterizing accentuated the textures in the pine cone and the wood. That's most visible in a larger size.

On an unrelated note, today was Claire's first day back to preschool. I'm not sure if she had a good time or not. She's been in a bad mood all day, but that might be because she didn't want to leave -- I'm not sure. Anyway, Zach and I went to the park, which is where I took all these shots today. :) We were there for 3 hours. It was a good morning.

A pattern repeat I started about 3 years ago and have still never printed as yardage. I will endeavor to do this in the near future.

I forgot to take a 50/50 yesterday, so I took two today.....OOPS!

The colors on this pinecone, yellow and purple are complementary. They reside opposite each other on the color wheel. It seems to me as if the pinecone looks like a fashionable dress or a piece of jewelry.
