Edited using Deep Dream Generator. This was my first choice for Sliders Sunday, but then I opted for the flashier flowers.

A while back in Edmonton, after a foggy night... Don't you just love the contrast between bright white and blue sky?!

There are quite a few of these trees, Pinus strobus, on the avenues round me.

It is known as the White Pine in the USA.

My son, Kyle, brought this pinecone home a few days ago. It looked interesting so of course I hijacked it so I could take some pics of it.

The other night I couldn't get to sleep because I had the idea for this pinecone pouch and I really wanted to make it. Last night I made it.

You wear it round your neck (adult or child) and you can put shells, acorns, buttons or any other treasuure in it.

Random I know. But sometimes random makes the best shots.😂👍🌲🌲🌲🌲

This pinecone and branch fell from a nearby tree. I thought the colors were beautiful.

Another crop of pine cones that regularly fall off the trees across the street.

I drew this from a pinecone that I picked up in Fitzroy Gardens. It looked so traditional and Christmas-sy that I added the writing, then decided to get it printed as a card. The cards arrived yesterday and look great except I cut the side of the page off when I uploaded them Grrr

So if you receive one in the mail that is the story behind it !
