A visit to my hometown of Manchester, Michigan on August 1, 2019 brought this pleasant surprise of a mint 1942 Chevrolet pickup parked downtown on Main Street.

France : 1980 - 1993
Argentina : 1993 - 1999
The model pictured here is an Argentinian production, recognizable to its plastic front bumpers. Sales in France ended in 1996, so the three last years, all the pickups were imported from Argentina.
After 1999, production was transferred to Kenya until 2001, and then Nigeria when it ended in 2005.
At the Back to the Fifties car show in St Paul, MN. I don't know the exact year of this Studebaker pickup but I'd say about a '49 or '50

Probably my personal favourite thing ever built. The front is inspired by Andrew Somers' Technically Speaking, but the rest (including the rollcage) is my own design.

I've added this to some classic car groups and hope the term "car" might be interpreted flexibly in this instance!

i caught this cat bounding off a pickup truck thanks to luck—and a very fast shutter speed. think i got this with my ancient, manual 300mm nikon lens while exploring a rundown neighborhood in south dallas one day. but if i were a cat, it seems a pretty sweet place to hang out.
