A Toyota pickup truck from the mid-1980s makes a quick appearance behind The Pasty Kitchen, a popular Los Alamitos tradition for take-out food. A pasty is a hand-held meat/potato/vegetable pie in a crust, originally from Cornwall and Devon in the UK.
This Toyota was in very good condition, clean and very straight. Although not pristine in appearance anymore, it appears to have been maintained very well.
Though the late afternoon sun is beginning to cast long shadows, this Toyota pickup will most likely live to see tomorrow and many more days beyond.
London NW plates. This was the Peugeot pickup I spotted last week, though in a completely different location.
Somewhat extreme editing of a nice all black Advance Design Chevy pickup at the Back to the Fifties car show.

The Ford Fiesta MK3 in the background has since been presumably scrapped.
A lovely Chevrolet pickup truck, seen at the Lincolnshire Showground vintage show in August 2017. The fact that it looks a little battered and bruised adds charm I think.
Well I figured I'd do at least one model to serve as a tribute to the American PA produced variant of the Golf known as the Rabbit. Perhaps one of the worst cars ever produced, even though it did spawn a pickup version of the Golf that was first known as the Rabbit Pickup and later the Caddy.

Any additional information about the vehicle will be welcomed.
I've added this to some classic car groups and hope the term "car" might be interpreted flexibly in this instance!
