The fourth generation of the Chevrolet C/K pickups was built between 1988 and 2002, The pickup was also sold under the GMC brand as Sierra.

The latest generation of the Ram pickup was introduced in 2018. In Europe these are not imported by FCA but by independent companies. As such they're even quite popular, at least in Germany and the Netherlands.
1953 Mercury pickup at the Back to the Fifties car show in St Paul, MN. These were built by Ford of Canada. When I was young and trying to learn as much about cars and trucks as I could, I found it confusing at first to see Ford trucks with the name Mercury on them and Mercury cars with the name Monarch and Ford cars with the name Meteor...Then I learned about our great neighbor to the north.
The WT1500 was Chevrolet's "budget" full size pickup truck. It had two standard sized rectangular headlights set within a molded grille insert. This one has large wheel covers over steel wheels.
The license plate has been modified for privacy.

I told the owner of the pickup truck to park his ride out in the open away from the other vehicles and away from the shadows of the trees so when the sun was setting it would capture a more favourable picture i did mention the 'Golden Hour" after the picture was sent to him he could see my point about that time of day when the sun was just right.
Finally, the pièce de résistance - as in, we want to resist it, right? No? That's not what that means? Oh well, perhaps that's for the best... the sign isn't that bad, admittedly. Restrooms unfortunately got stiffed, but at least photo center is sorta hanging in there. Plus it certainly draws attention to the area – no doubt that's what Walmart was going for!
That's all from the Hernando Walmart – I have more in my ever-growing vault, of course, but I doubt I'll get any of those up before next year. What I will have up later this week is another check in with the Hernando Kroger construction, so watch out for that!

She might not be the prettiest little truck, but she's a tough little motor and she makes the perfect companion for lugging pigs and parcels around the farm.
In 1948, Chevrolet unveiled a new line of pickups which they termed the 'Advanced Design' truck. Standard equipment included a heater and a defroster, a luxury in those days. The cab was enlarged by eight inches and was seven inches taller. This made seating for three a reality. To improve visibility, the windshield was enlarged and cut into two pieces. In the front, the grille featured a horizontal design and recessed headlamps. The fenders became rounder, complimenting the aerodynamic and smooth body.
The trucks were customizable and offered with a wide array of optional equipment, ranging from engine upgrades to chrome accents.

This Ford pickup is about as pretty as any I have seen.
