Spotted this insanely modified Ford/Chevrolet Pickup Truck leaving Caffeine & Carburetors in New Canaan, Connecticut.
(cont.) However, this date – January 15th – was the first nice day with clear roads after a period of Mid-South crippling snow and ice. Naturally, I took advantage of our newfound ability to get out of the house to solicit a trip to the OB WM to get those photos. In my milk-sandwich-induced mind haze, though, I somehow forgot to consider the fact that LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON HAD THE SAME IDEA. (Not the photos part anyway, but the “let’s raid Walmart!!!!!” one) Needless to say, I was unable to get that stour I wanted :P
At least I was able to get a couple of exterior shots, haha! Here’s a close-up of the recent Pickup paint addition.

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
Finally, the pièce de résistance - as in, we want to resist it, right? No? That's not what that means? Oh well, perhaps that's for the best... the sign isn't that bad, admittedly. Restrooms unfortunately got stiffed, but at least photo center is sorta hanging in there. Plus it certainly draws attention to the area – no doubt that's what Walmart was going for!
That's all from the Hernando Walmart – I have more in my ever-growing vault, of course, but I doubt I'll get any of those up before next year. What I will have up later this week is another check in with the Hernando Kroger construction, so watch out for that!

Abandoned pickup truck cab and other mechanical flotsam and jetsam, in White City, Oregon.
Photographed on May 20, 2016 at Gun Lake Park near Shelbyville, Michigan during the Donald Gilmore Classic Driving Tour. This is the first year for the event, which is sponsored by the Gilmore Car Museum.
This Ford pickup is about as pretty as any I have seen.

At first glance I assumed the truck on the right was left in the parking lot a little too long and developed a flat tire. Why else would it be leaning so much? Well... closer inspection revealed that both of these trucks had their suspensions altered, in opposite directions. The white truck was lifted, and the blue truck was lowered. Apparently, each corner of the blue vehicle can be lowered independently from the other corners if so desired. The bed of the truck contains equipment needed for all this lowering and lifting activity. No doubt plenty of entertainment is provided by both of these trucks.
This 1949 Chevrolet Pickup was pretty in a pink and gray combination and it appeared at the 2016 Country Mart Car Show held in Leavenworth Kansas. The background is a picture taken in the industrial area of St. Joseph Missouri.
WEEK 23 – OB WM Post-Remodel, Set I
As we take a closer look at the left side of the overall exterior façade, we see the front corner over there has taken on an orange paint job, in order to signify the store’s Pickup services. The rest of the exterior, meanwhile, has adopted the current blue and gray paint scheme found at most Walmarts post-Impact décor.

Not military, but will be used in my Invasion of Poland scene.
Oh, and a Polish guy.
It's V1 because I'm not happy with the front.
