WEEK 23 – OB WM Post-Remodel, Set I
As we take a closer look at the left side of the overall exterior façade, we see the front corner over there has taken on an orange paint job, in order to signify the store’s Pickup services. The rest of the exterior, meanwhile, has adopted the current blue and gray paint scheme found at most Walmarts post-Impact décor.

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
This 1949 Chevrolet Pickup was pretty in a pink and gray combination and it appeared at the 2016 Country Mart Car Show held in Leavenworth Kansas. The background is a picture taken in the industrial area of St. Joseph Missouri.
Photographed on May 20, 2016 at Gun Lake Park near Shelbyville, Michigan during the Donald Gilmore Classic Driving Tour. This is the first year for the event, which is sponsored by the Gilmore Car Museum.
This Ford pickup is about as pretty as any I have seen.

Abandoned pickup truck cab and other mechanical flotsam and jetsam, in White City, Oregon.
The 1960 F100 I've been working on. Most systems are functional and I can drive it now. Getting to the detail and finish work now.
Recent pickup, finally entering the new generation of consoles! Got a heck of a deal from a gent on another forum who happened to be in Denver so I met up with him on Saturday and got it from him.

Saw this vintage pickup truck parking right next to my car. I still had one frame left on my roll of Fuji C200 So I immediately wasted my last frame on this. Allergically, Fuji has stopped making this film for production.

We run a fleet of mini trucks. These are the 4X4's in Minnesota the weather can change quick and we service many homes from the garage. These all have parkan dump boxes that we can dump into the rearload
Farmer Mike farms his land a few miles south of my old hometown of Manchester, Michigan. He was in town on June 18, 2020 when my nephew Grant and I were traveling to Frank's Place for lunch with my sister Mary. This rare pickup is of the early "First Series" of 1955 Chevrolet pickups, before they were totally redesigned and modernized with the "Second Series" later in the year.

Happy Truck Thursday, everyone!
We'll end this batch with this blurry view looking back up toward the pickup tower. If you look to the left of that tower, then further left (just past the pole) and zoom in, you can catch a very blurry glimpse of what I believe to be the coolest relics of all in the store. Despite a healthy crowd of people up front, no way was I going to pass up an opportunity to get photos up there! I'll plan to post those in future uploads...
And I haven't forgotten about uploading pics from my JVC car stereo replacement (which I was doing on select Wednesdays) - just haven't been inspired to post any of those lately, and have been using Wednesdays as one of my flicker off days. Hopefully I'll get around to more of those in the near future...

We Are Driven, was the Datsun slogan in the seventies. The Cruise on Colby Ave. in Everett is one of the most fun shows in the Seattle area. Grant and I have now been twice to this great photo opportunity.
