This little threesome was taken a few weeks back now when I went on a window shopping spree that developed as it normally does into a trying on fest.
I went in to phase eight to try a dress that I saw before but wasn't in my size, as luck would have it this store did have the dress in question although its not in these photos, shame really as it was a nice dress and a fab fit. anyway the shop staff got a little carried away and kept bringing in more dresses for me to try, these are just a few from the two hours I spent held captive by them. Sorry about the quality of image people really cant use my camera on the phone.
The middle dress was just fab to wear and at the £300 + price it was never going home with me even with reduced cost to £275 that the sales lady said she could do as a special one off just because it was me. like she doesn't say that to everyone lol. the lace one on the right my left was nice but it was fight to get on and off. I did a bit of cursing with that one. and the one on the left my right was a surprise as I didn't think it would work as well as it did apart from showing how broad I am across the shoulders.
Still it was a fun few hours to end a nice day out . So what's your favourite?
AMTK 320 and 309 lead northbound Amtrak Coast Starlight 14 through Springfield, Oregon and will soon be arriving at the next station stop at Eugene. This is my first catch of the Coast Starlight powered exclusively by ALC-42s. 5/03/2023.
Finally got my hands on a few '12 sets and I just couldn't leave stock alone! Here's Rex, a little more accurate, with MMCB's phase II Rex cloth set & an added range finder (yes, drilled in, not glued!). Not too bad lookin. I know the new helmets are a love/hate debate lately, but I kinda like'em.
AMTK 184 is seen at a standstill at the Naperville Illinois Metra station. It would be leading the infamous California Zephyr. Only beginning the first leg of their 2438 mile journey to California
With the rust spot above its windows fixed, AMTK #184, the Ph. #IV Heritage Unit hustles train #3 through Westmont.

I was trying for a side by side shot of the 2 Phase III Cabbage cars but timing was not right. But this shot of the 90368 next to the dome car isn't bad either so I will take it.
Amtrak’s new fleet wide paint scheme knows as Phase VII (7) has to be one of if not the best paint schemes in the railroads history. The addition of more color is a huge upgrade from the previous platinum mist and blue. Here are two of Amtrak’s new toys sporting the scheme as they lead the Silver Star through West Palm Beach, FL.

Got a sweet tip on Amtrak 391 "The Sauki" possibly having my favorite phase 2 engine leading, I win. Kensington Junction is a hard place to shoot, so many shadows to dodge. The South Shore tracks are in the foreground and the tower is now owned by Metra and is used by signal maintainers for storage.
Hyacinths at the end of the flowering phase. The bulbs will go into pots to rebuild to flower next year.
Passing Burnaby Lake and heading to Pacific Central station in Vancouver is Amtrak Cascades #516 led by P42DC 108, Amtrak's Phase VI heritage unit. The 108 is normally based in the northeast US, but it has tempoarily moved to the Pacific Northwest for Cascades service.
