Sequence broken down into three photos.
[Note: I am deliberately avoiding the Latin terms generally used to describe insect anatomy so that this is accessible to as many people as possible. Common terms are placed in quotation marks.]
Phase 3: the bubble is now complete and transparent. On the left, the magnifying effect reveals the details of the "pads" and, at the top, just above the reflection of the lens and diffuser, a second small bubble. It should be noted that while the fly is making a bubble, it remains perfectly still: you can approach it, cast a shadow over it, photograph it from every angle, and it will not move. I was able to observe it for a while: it eventually swallowed its bubble, but immediately made another one. It seems that there are still only hypotheses about this phenomenon (see photo www.flickr.com/photos/un_safari_dans_mon_jardin/547508633...).

This was fun to do! So I'll do my other dolls as well~ All of them are not as long as Zephii's LOL!
1. He arrived to me after a 4-month layaway via DDE! Blank & fresh resin!
2. I sent him off to AngelToast after having him home for only like 2 days! Then he came back and I was utterly IN LOVE.
3. Tried a black Crobi wig on him!
4. He went back to his wine wig and I also tried gray 12mm eyes on him.
5. Didn't like the gray on him so he went back to his brown eyes, but now they were 12mm!
6. Got him a beautiful dragon tattoo with the Kanji for "courage" painted by the amazing Vitta-Vera/Tsuminaki!
7. Sadly, Brink's eyeshadow was chipped, so I sent him back to AngelToast for repair! The only difference, really, is his eyebrows, they match his hair a bit more now :) 'cause she's amazing like that!
8. Got my boy some 12mm Mako eyes (IB-009)!
Decided to go for a late afternoon stroll.

Amtrak NPCU 90368 is sitting on the Pere Marquette trainset here at the Amtrak facility in downtown Chicago on National Train Day. I like the single ditch light.

The destination of the different three phase lines is marked on the wall of the generating hall at the Ardnacrusha hydro-electric power station.
As the sun sets on the SWT 458/5 junipers as they are refurbished, 458530 approaches Wokingham station at dusk with a an evening service to Reading from London Waterloo.
These are phases of the eclipse as I viewed it. The solar paper was on the lens prior to and post totality giving us the golden colored sun.
The top images are pre-totality as the moon entered the scene and began its trip across the sun, and the bottom are post totality as the moon moved away.
Like the contrast here:

Next phase of the Georgia Central-- GP38-2s a plenty. These had begun showing up a few months prior and mixing with the briefly present SD45Rs and then those behemoths found their way over to the Meridian & Bigbee.
Rewind to my marked out NS B32-8 leading L782 a couple of weeks ago and here's a previous version-- FURX 5568. Returned to First Union by NS due to their high lease rate and replaced with NS' own 5600/5800 series rebuilds performed in house, these 5500s found their way into a variety of leases (and still do today). I can't recall how many NS "bandits" there were on GC but I'm thinking two or three. At any rate, I immediately thought "Sigh...so this is how it's going to be." Turns out the GP38-2 era wouldn't be that long, either...
At any rate, this is the International Paper woodchip shuttle Y115, which makes a daily run out to Faulkville for woodchip loads to take to IP's Savannah paper mill. The haul is all of about 10 miles from the chip loadout to mill but keeps a lot of trucks off of busy and congested US 80 going into Savannah. A Class 1 wouldn't touch this traffic with a 10-foot pole.
Y115 has come west to the siding in Meldrim to run around their train and head back to Savannah. Operations on this train vary between a Meldrim run-around and double-ending the power to avoid the run-around. It just seems to vary by the day and probably whether there are two qualified engineers on the train any given day.
