Lo demás, todo claro.

Life is a process during which one initially gets less and less dependent, independent, and then more and more dependent.

"The moon reminds me, that it may sometimes look like I'm losing myself, but that's just a phase. I'm forever whole."

Gi takes in the natural vibrations all around as she soaks in the lunar energy above her...❤️

Of all of Amtrak's heritage painted fleet, the Phase IV engines had proved most elusive for me. I don't think I ever even saw the prior engine, 184, before it was mysteriously repainted last year. Luckily, the new representative of the Phase IV livery is still looking fresh by the time it got to DC this weekend. After making a trip south on yesterday's Palmetto, I set out to catch the northbound return trip around Alexandria. The sun had gone into hiding by the time they appeared, but given the encroaching shadows I'm not mad about it. Hopefully this one sticks around the DC pool for a good while.

Far Behind

Song by Candlebox

Lyrics

Now maybe

I didn't mean to treat you bad

But I did it anyway

And then maybe

Some would say your life was sad

But you lived it anyway

And so maybe

Your friends, they stand around, they watch you crumble

As you falter to the ground

And then someday

Your friends, they stand beside as you were flyin'

Oh, you were flyin' oh-so high

But then someday, people look at you

For what they call their own, they watch you suffer

Yeah, they hear you calling home

And then someday, we could take our time

To brush the leaves aside so you can reach us

Hey, but you left me far behind

Now may-ay-ay-ay-be

I didn't mean to treat you oh-so bad

But I did it anyway

Now I'm saying, but may-ay-ay-ay-be

Some would say you're left with what you had

But you couldn't share the pain, no, no, no

Couldn't share the pain, they watch you suffer

Mm

Now maybe

I could have made my own mistakes

But I live with what I've known

And then maybe

We might share in something great

Won't you look at where we've grown

Won't you look at where we've gone

And then someday comes, tomorrow holds

A sense of what I fear for you in my mind

As you trip the final line

And that cold day when you lost control

Shame you left my life so soon, you shoulda told me

Hey, but you left me far behind

Now may-ay-ay-ay-be

I didn't mean to treat you oh-so bad

Oh, but I did it anyway

Now may-ay-ay-ay-be

Some would say you're left with what you had

Oh, but you couldn't share the pain, no, no, no, no

Oh no

Oh no, no, no-no, no

Oh, Lord, say

Oh, Lord

See, I know

See, I know

But may-ay-ay-ay-be

I said may-ay-ay-ay-be

Didn't mean to treat you oh-so bad

Oh, but I did it anyway, no

So m-maybe, now, oh Lord, baby

Some would say you're left with what you had

But you couldn't share the pain

Now I've said, now, times have changed, your friends they come

And watch you crumble to the ground

They watch you suffer

Yeah, they hold you down, hold on down

Said maybe love, oh, maybe love

Didn't mean to treat you bad

But you left me far behind

Left me far behind

Left me far behind

The Vitthala temple is one of the most important and beautiful temples in Hampi, the ruined capital city of the erstwhile Vijayanagar Empire in the state of Karnataka .Hampi is a Unesco World Heritage site.

Like all monuments in Hampi this temple is also built from locally sourced granite. The core of the temple was in existence since the reign of Devaraya II (1422-46 AD)However later kings added to it and major additions including the stone chariot were made during the reign of Krishnadevaraya, the most powerful king of Vijayanagar in the 16th century. It is an example of the mature phase of Vijayanagar architecture and is a complex of exquisite temples and mandapas including a hundred pillared mandapa and the famous stone chariot. The main shirine is dedicated to Vitthala or Lord Vishnu. It has a massive enclosure with lofty gopuras or entrance gateways on three sides. All the structures in this complex have exquisite carving on the walls and pillars. The upper portions, made of brick and mortar have crumbled..The ruins of this magnificent temple stand testimony to the amazing talent and superior craftsmanship of the architects and sculptors of the Vijayanagar Empire.

I had to take this shot with my phone since photography with cameras is not allowed inside this temple complex.

Might be worth a look in large.

Due to some family commitments I will be off for some time. See you all soon. Take care, stay safe dear friends.

Shot in jpg the colours were all hyper inflated. Tried a few different ways to get the colour balance back to where it should be - obviously still needs some more work/somebody that knows what they’re doing. Still, it’s a stunning common tree snake (dendrelaphis punctulata, blue phase) and no bad photography or editing on my part can take that away.

Cactus stickers are called spines, evolved from the leaves.

Thorns are the pointy things evolved from branches and usually found on trees.

A deep inner look at the evolution of Cactus spines, seeing them full size and just beginning to emerge from the overlapping leaves of the bud. Tiny clusters sprouting up around the edges. So exciting to see these different phases of development right next to each other. And to have a chance to examine the bud almost as closely as a visiting ant!

I love the varying tones of green... from the bright green of new growth to the soft blue-green-grey of the older. Look at this one Original Size. It's amazing!
