An old Electro-Harmonix pedal from the dawn of time that I've owned since shortly after the dawn of time. I'm pretty sure, going by the pots, that it's a '77.
When I lived in Rhode Island I bought a little solid-state Electro-Harmonix amp for like $25. It was called a Mike Matthews Dirt Road Special. Nothing much to it. It had a Celestion speaker and a little 25-watt solid-state amp. It also had a built-in Small Stone Phase Shifter. It was actually a really cool little amp and I used it as a practice amp for years. Fell in love with the Small Stone while I had it. It was basically a little sealed speaker box with a few circuit boards and a transformer inside. I don't even recall when or why I sold it. I mean, it was a very basic amp. Just a tone control and a presence control. No overdrive of any kind. But with the Small Stone running on a slow rate it was a very trippy-sounding clean amp. And the Celestion sounded good.
Anyway, long before I got rid of the Dirt Road Special I'd bought this. I'm not sure why nothing seems to sound like it, but I've always really liked the specific sound of the Small Stone. Probably because I got the Dirt Road Special in my early 20's and I got used to the sound of a phaser being the sound of the Small Stone. Or it could be because the Small Stone uses Operational Transconductance Amplifiers instead of regular op-amps like almost all the other phasers out there.
Whatever it is, I've owned a whole bunch of phasers over the years. TC Electronics, Mutron (the Mutron was called a 'Phasor' instead of a 'Phaser'), Boss, Korg...and for some reason this is the one I like most.
Orientation phase of CAVES 2011.
ESA’s cave training prepares astronauts to work as an international team in real exploration conditions. Sending astronauts underground to survive and explore Sardinian caves in Italy for almost a week is just one element of their long training.
The caves are isolated from the outside world. The astronauts need to get used to confined spaces, minimal privacy, technical challenges and limited equipment and supplies for hygiene and comfort – just like in space.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA-- On September 8, 2018, thousands of people converged in San Francisco for the ‘Rise for Climate, Jobs, and Justice’ march, just days before the Global Climate Action Summit, demanding a phase-out of fossil fuel extraction and a just transition to a 100% renewable energy economy. Event organizers emphasized community-led solutions, starting in places most impacted by pollution and climate change. The march brought together people from across California, the U.S., and around the world, including those facing health impacts associated with oil & gas production, those recovering from the devastation of the state’s worsening wildfires, those working to resist the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure, and those advocating for and building solutions to the climate crisis within their communities. In San Francisco, people took to the streets in the largest climate march the West Coast has ever seen that also included the largest ever street mural.
Concurrently, people around the world will join more than 830 events in 91 countries under the “Rise for Climate” banner. In the U.S., over 300 events are planned in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

An ultrasonic sensor or a probe generates sound waves, and the reflections of the sound waves produce clear images of body tissues and organs, which is an important part of the ultrasound system. The following are the three most common ultrasound transducer types:
Linear ultrasound probe
As the name suggests, there is a linear piezoelectric structure. The beam shape is rectangular, and the near-field resolution is higher than average. Depending on the clinical application, the frequency, footprint, and application of the linear probe are likely to vary.
The probe used for 2D imaging has a wide coverage range, and its broadband frequency is 5-20 MHz. It is used to examine the breast, thyroid, tendons and blood vessels, and to measure the thickness of carotid artery disease.
Convex ultrasound probe
Also commonly called a curved probe, there is a curved piezoelectric crystal arrangement, and the beam is convex.
The probe used for 2D imaging has a wide coverage range, and its broadband frequency is about 2.5 MHz-7.5 MHz, which can be used for abdominal and vaginal examinations.
The probe used for 3D imaging has a wide field of view, and its broadband frequency is 3.5 MHz-6.5 MHz. 3D bending probes usually use electromechanical moving parts in the head, and are usually used to diagnose pregnancy abnormalities.
Phased array ultrasound probe
The phased array ultrasound probe is so named because the crystals are arranged in a "stacked" structure. The beam is very narrow, close to a triangle, and the near-field resolution is poor. This kind of probe has a small footprint and a broadband frequency of 2-6 MHz. It is mainly used for cardiac and transcranial examinations.
Other types of ultrasound probe
Such as the pencil type, intracavity type and transesophageal type, all have a specific purpose: to check blood flow, internal cavity and heart respectively. Some probes, such as laparoscopic probes, are specifically designed for surgical procedures.

The Surrey CC Bus Review phase 2 information posters were yellow for West Surrey.
Mid/East Surrey had lime green ones (and phase 1 was pink!).
This one was at the Woking station stops. These posters were up in various places, but not in every possible space as per phase 1 of the review where lots of stops had them.

My wife Claire made this table banner for me to use at conventions. Pretty classy, no? You can read more about how she made it on her blog:
