My LE Wedding Cinderella Doll has been fully deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by the included display stand. With her floor length multi-layered skirt she should be able to free stand, but I didn't haven't tried to stand her that way. She is photographed from all angles.

On my second attempt to get the Limited Edition Wedding Cinderella 17'' Doll from eBay, I finally got her! I got her with the help of a fellow collector. She is #450 of 500, and was originally sold by the Japan Disney Store. There is a Japanese sticker on the bottom of the box. She was shipped double boxed, and very well packed. She arrived in perfect condition.

She is very beautiful, and has a serene expression, rather than the grumpy pout of the LE Ballgown Cinderella doll. Her lips have a slight smile, which is part of why she has a more pleasant expression than the other doll, who shares the same face mold. She is glancing in the opposite direction of the Ballgown Cinderella, and her skin has a matte surface, rather than the shiny pearly surface of the Ballgown doll. Her pale yellow wedding gown has many differently sized and colored rhinestones enhancing the printed floral pattern. There are also several small jeweled plastic butterflies in the skirt, hidden amongst the flowers. The decorations continue throughout the back of the dress. There are also faux pearl buttons on her sleeves and on the back of her bodice. Her skirt is very full with a long train, and is in three differently colored layers. Under her skirts is a 3/4 length single layer tulle petticoat. Attached to her hair is an oversized pale yellow sheer chiffon veil. She has golden earrings and a jeweled golden tiara. Her wedding ring is a floral design with five golden beads; it is pinned to her hand. She has the old style legs, with fixed ankles. She is wearing simple ivory heels, with no decorations.

I will be posting a full set of detailed photos of this doll. She will be shown boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed, both by herself and with other Disney Store dolls.

This cute little bag is crocheted using lilac yarn with a glitter thread throughout giving it a pretty sparkle. It features a heart shaped flap secured with a heart shaped pearlescent button and a short handle for carrying.

The mini envelope contains a little love note and lots of tiny punched hearts. I placed some of the hearts in a flap under the flap so that they will spill out when the envelope is opened. More details are on my blog stampingandstitching.blogspot.com/2012/05/recently-cath-o...

This 1935-1938 Parker Vacumatic fountain pen, possibly the "Slender" model, in laminated green emerald DuPont pearlescent celluloid, was a gift from Peter Beck, restored per advice by the Fountain Pen Shop's Fred P. Krinke. Stuart Hawkinson replaced the missing "jewel": the laminated celluloid cone secured by the metal "tassie ring" at the end of the barrel. Greg Minuskin re-tipped the broken nib, and completed restoration: installing a new diaphragm (part of the filling mechanism), polishing the cap and barrel, and re-plating the nib in the original two-tone pattern.

The pen is filled with Noodler's Ink Legal Lapis permanent ink, and shown here with a Seven Seas "Standard" A5 blank journal, thread-bound of Tomoe River paper, from Nanami Paper; "artisanal filler text" is by Hipster Ipsum.

Although I really enjoyed carrying the journal in a cheap plastic cover with an inserted print of one of my Sagrada Familia photos, I switched to a Gfeller Casemakers English kip leather cover. (Thanks, Mom!)

Here she is in her box! I bought her at Meijer this morning for 19.99. They only had two, and it was only the evil queen. I bought one.lol I assume they have already sold out of Ursula. I didn't see any traces of the new disney signature princesses. The evil queen is very pretty, especially for a Mattel play line disney doll. One thing I will have to say is, I think this is a play line doll, instead of a collector doll. It came with no certificate, or stand. It also has the hollow plastic legs, and very stiff joints for sturdy play. Her outfit is made out of a couple different fabrics. Her dress is the typical stiff Mattel satin. Her sleeves are a almost polyester spandexy material. Her cape is a felt like material, that they use alot with velcro. So it's not the nicest. The cowl is the same stiff satin Mattel uses. Her crown is a hard plastic painted in gold chrome. It stays on with plastic pegs, that connects to the back of her head. Her head is a pearlescent peach vinyl, with crushed black velvet lining her face. The crushed velvet goes all around her head instead of half way, so thank goodness.lol her apple is the same plastic as the crown, but painted in red and green chrome paint. It has a prong that specially fits in the queens specially molded hand. Her belt is a soft gold plastic, could be rubber. Her shoes are a hard gold plastic, and have the skull apple embellishments on the tip. All in all, I think for a Mattel doll, she's worth it! Especially if you don't have a evil queen. And I actually prefer this one over the Disney store one.

This pretty crochet cushion features a beautiful three dimensional pink crochet rose in the centre finished with a pearlescent button and framed with a maroon and pink border detail. It is hand stitched onto a lilac envelope style cover.

The view from the centre of Aberdeen this afternoon, with some beautiful pearlescent nacreous cloud. This is the first time I’ve ever seen these clouds, that form around 80 000 feet, and are illuminated long after other clouds fade. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera at work today, so had to make do using my mobile as camera.

The almost full Moon takes on an almost pearlescent appearance behind the late evening clouds.

This figure is of Nono Nekomiya, a character from the eroge Yotsunoha by Hiqo-Soft. She is around 24cm in height. Her sukumizu is the Old-Type with a brand tag.

Her swimsuit, stockings, ribbons and bells are painted with pearlescent paint. There's not much else to say; this is one of the most popular sukumizu figures, for good reason.

There is a variant of this figure available featuring a white sukumizu.

Hand sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylic paint.

-designed by myself

-I am very proud of this design. I added green pearlescent to the mc when I sized the paper, giving the beetle a metallic look.

Year made 1987, one piece curly maple neck, bound head veneer with mother of pearl and abalone inlays, 13 7/8 scale, bound ebony fingerboard, mother of pearl position markers, solid carved spruce top, solid carved curly maple back, solid curly maple rim, tuned top and back. Part of a Set / Slideshow describing a set of Decorative Hexagonal Origami Gift Boxes and the papers used to construct them.

This crinkly paper is called “Shoyu Pearlescent Rose”. One surface is coated with a shiny reflective “pearlescent” sheen. The reverse of the paper is a darker, richer, uncoated pink.

This detail is a scan of an approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) square area of an example of one type of paper used to make the Origami Boxes in this Set.

I have been wanting to do another step by step cleaning of what i call pearlescent removal.

Glass like this is from dig outs and ash pits and dumps usually buried in soil .

What i saw in this lens it was a good candidate for glass restoration it has the milky appearance with spots of iron burn from oxidation , I cant call this glass cancer as I believe glass cancer is somewhat for a comparison,

lamination errors flaws in coins .

Glass cancer i believe is the same in appearance and the damage can be felt by dragging the fingernail into the flakes and gouges while glass cancer can still have the milky appearance glass cancer is prevalent in buried glass in dump locations with lime, ash disposed batteries and iron refuse .

I have not seen any one do a step by step restoration of glass cancer or if it can be reversed .

My KOPP UNION SWITCH and SIGNAL flat roundels had milky appearance not the worst case so it cleaned up rather well and a great difference something i first hesitant in doing because you dont see many early KOPP lenses marked US&SCO.

So this lens is a good example of cleaning this "permanent" coating.

The lens has no chips or unsightly deep scratches just hard coatings of staining . this is something no cleaning abrasive should be used not that it would work effectively as i experimented with bottles long ago. this is how i do lens restoration. Lens in received condition no cleaning was done .

I've been using some pearlescent paint mixed with inks to try to get a cool metallic look. Tis worked okay and brought some life to a second hand eBay broadside.

View from the terrace in front of the main gatehouse, also showing the 2 symmetrical side buildings (mosque to the left; guesthouse to the right). When the Taj was first built the trees would not have been there - they were added during the British Raj period.

Visual sleight-of-hand abounds at the Taj Mahal. The Taj is much further away than it looks, which enhances the effect of the early morning dampness in the air, which gives the building a soft pearlescent appearance. The distance also masks the building's variations in colour and shade, making it appear perfectly white.

I have no idea what you would call the color of this car, but it was a satin finish, no pearlescent in the paint, and yet it gave off that sort of effect. The dulcet blue gray was really a nice subtle shift from the loud colors and dense blacks seen on so many neighboring cars.
