My Mum had a hand in this photo... oh, okay stop looking at me like that! She did! I was struggling to come up with ideas and she said 'take a photo of my beautiful patchwork!' - so I did. But as I was shooting I noticed how much the hands take a part in the patchwork process. I thought cropping it into a square format was particularly fitting too :) (004/365)

Piece by Numbers cup-and-saucer block gets a summer make over.

What did I do with all the extra blocks I had made up and didn't use in the border? I made a pillow of course!

Lots of scraps from vintage pinnies in this cushion cover.Plus bits from my Mum's very ancient sewing bag ans several offcuts from my childhood clothes. (My mum is a very keen sewer)
