I just can't help myself. Love the patchy squares!
It all started with a 'Plume' layer cake, and went from there. Crazy colors, and I really didn't like it when I was making it, but it has grown on me.
Currently for sale in my Etsy shop:

I feel so lucky to be part of an amazingly talented group of people creating a gift for designer Suzuko Koseki. This is my contribution!
The coaster measures 4.5" square. The small patchwork squares are .5". Background fabric is linen and I left the edges raw to echo the raw edge applique of the heart pieces.
Finally blogged! megsmonkeybeans.blogspot.com/2010/12/suzuko-koseki.html

My half-brother turned 6 last week, so this was my gift to him. Made to match an adorable name pillow that my talented friend, Marie, [http://www.flickr.com/people/marienvilla/] made last year.
When Hudson opened it, he was happy and didn't just toss it aside in pursuit of toys. I hadn't realized, but apparently he has been asking for awhile when I would make him a new blanket (I made him a simply minky one when he was born; he used it for naps every day in preschool). So sweet!

I love making patchwork! And this is the perfect pouch for a day of shopping. This one went to Greece!
Modeled after one of my grocery bags, a new tote made from IKEA white canvas and a fabric scrap patchwork pocket. Almost too pretty for groceries. A beach bag, perhaps?
