Dragged out a shelved project and made a bit of headway, always takes me a while after finishing a book to get back into sewing, it's almost as if my head is too bogged down to think straight for a while.

Baby Girl quilt top

Really excited about this one. I've been collecting Liberty pieces for a few years now, and it'll be so fun to see them all in a quilt together!

40x56 using various prints from Jennifer Paganelli, Valori Wells, Joel Dewberry, Sandi Henderson, Martha Negley, Nancy Mims & Michael Miller, Rachel Ashwell, Anna Maria Horner & Kaffe Fassett dots for the back

She's about 33 inches tall and is made from odds and sods, small pieces of fabric too pretty to throw away, metal parts, buttons...

As this is for my baby girl, I didn't use wadding. I opted for a thick cotton flannelette backing.

cotton lining, allover hand quilted in cable pattern, made in Canada during World War II and sent to England,
