OK, so I didn't take a pic again yesterday, so I'm posting this little quilt I finished last week as a harbinger of spring!!

This is a Jelly Roll Quilt the design was taken from the book by Pam & Nicky Lintott. I have added sashings and matching borders. The fabric is called "Bliss" by Moda. It is machine pieced and all hand quilted. I made this this year it took about 3 months.
This is our course project of August. We saw leftover strips in full WOF (from cutting jelly roll strips) together, no matter how even they were. we cut the piece we got in strips of 11 cm. took solid colour strips of 11 cm and saw each of them together with a pieced one, on both long sides (right sides facing). the tube we cut in triangles with a 45 degree ruler and when we opened up the small seam at the point of each trinagle we got squares (half white/half pieced)... Lovely idea for using up quite thin but long strips...
