Quilt for a baby girl

A birthday present for Finn's little kinder friend. It's a struggle putting together enough pink fabric when you sew for two boys!

Matando saudades. Ela agora mora na sala da Vivi.

My workshop for beginners to learn patchwork and quilting

i whipped this simple patchwork together for one of my husband's coworker's daughters. she is in the hospital with west nile and we just feel so bad for her. she is in the sixth grade and her dad said she likes bright green and blue, so i hope this brightens up her hospital bed!

Windy and cold, best pictures I am gonna get!

Wedding signature quilt. Bride picked her wedding colors. Used mostly Camelot Cottons, From in the Garden (I think what it's called). Was VERY hard to find fabric not too feminine because this is a man's quilt also. Biggest quilt I have ever made 76x86. Spent wayyy too many hours on this.

This is the 15th quilt I've quilted for the 'Embroidery Lady'. This one has scraps from all the quilts she's made for her grandchildren, along with their names on the blocks that has the fabric from the quilt gifted to them by Grandma. I think it's a bit of a memory quilt for Grandma of all the quilts she's made for her grandchildren.

I'm not chicken when it comes to trying out new blocks - especially when they look this Farm Girl Vintage good.

Used the cut off triangles from the Swoon quilt top. Then I pieced the pieces into a small patchwork.

Used sashiko's label fabric and Denyse Schmidt's Hope Valley for the top. Hand-quilted.

The lining is Flea Market Fancy Legacy.

Pattern: by myself

handles: purchased from Joann's store.

Patchwork using bits of silk ties and scraps. It was really good fun to make.

The woven silk ties can easily be used right or wrong side to create different

effects.

A votre avis, après plusieurs essais, je pense que celui ci est nettement mieux

In your opinion, after several tries(essays), I think that that is far better .

Over Indiana or thereabouts. . . .

Thinking of the wonderful book I read recently about many aspects of flying, as a pilot and as a passenger--SKYFARING. A poetic and informed read. Written by British Airways pilot, Mark Vanhoenacker.

I loved it and I'm pretty sure you will, too.
