I like this quilt very much. It was the first time I try hexagon quilt and it turned out quite well.
A patchwork quilt for my little sister... I'm halfway done quilting it and I'm hoping to have this and another one done before I leave on Monday. The "Don't Disturb" sign is up in my studio!
It's bitterly cold here this morning, so here's something summery from my archive to remind me that things should be warming up again soon.
Although we've been promised yet another wet, wet Summer :(
Ready for posting partner! This apron will look a lot better on someone thin!! Pattern from Patchwork Please book (Zakka).
A gift. I used three tutorials: this one from Ayumi for the patchwork, pockets, and strap; this one from Florence to do my first covered zip ends, and this one from Anna to complete the pouch. I'm really partial to Anna's instructions for putting together a zip pouch (now that I know to move the zipper around, which isn't mentioned!). To me, her instructions make far and away the most sense.

My second pillow. From Alicia Paulson's Summerhouse Pillow pattern. I can't thank you enough, Alicia! I'm now dreaming of little patchwork squares every night and imagining all kinds of things I could make with patchwork squares! (Pillow's finished size is 26" X 26" and each square is 2" X 2".)
Made using Alicia's interfaced patchwork technique. All vintage fabrics. (Great technique, many thanks.)

I bought this quilt in kit size from Patchwork on Central and loved making it so much I scoured all the patchwork shops for more fabric and it just grew and grew.
