A patch-in-progress on my oldest son's jeans. This is the evil green-eyed tentacle beast from the planet Marzipan -- it eats almonds, sugar and brains!
Once I get this finished, I'll be doing a flying saucer on the other knee. I'll also be writing up a "how to" tutorial for my blog and urbanhippy.ca. :)

Hi ya! My name is Patches! I am a young, energetic, happy-go-lucky dog in need of a forever home. I love to play with toys. I will romp and run, tossing them around in the air, tail always wagging with a big, heartwarming grin on my face. I get along well with other dogs, especially those who will play with me. I also have a sweet, friendly, loving personality. I enjoy being petted and told I'm a good boy. I have been around cats and I pretty much ignore them. I am a good dog who is looking for a home where people have the time and energy to spend with me, play with me and shower me with love and kisses. Could that be you? Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. There was a reason I wanted to get this Fender patch as soon as I saw it, but for the life of me I can't think why....! 🤔
The boys aren't used to being handfed yet, so they ignored the corn and zipped around. Mochi refused to have his picture taken, and Patch consented but moved in the last second. >_>
This was a shower gift for a baby girl. The colors show a little off - the darkish purple was not nearly so black looking. Please ignore the ripply edge, it really is quite flat, but the table I had it on was not quite wide enough so the edges are sort of unsupported.
Whew, I wondered if I could still quilt after all these years, and I'm thrilled to say it felt wonderful! I also thought that it looked pretty good, too, despite a small pucker or two on the back. I didn't get a chance to wash it before gifting it to see it all crinkly.
