My first DashnDazzle 'girl" modeling an original design called "Patches". What shall I name her? It must be something elegant! David deserves no less for this masterful work of art! Thank you, David!

I finally patched Ms M's raggedy jeans. A piece of fabric from my stash, fusible buckram and embroidery floss and we were good to go. Not bad considering I am completely rubbish at sewing!
dad's army patch. he flew around in a helicopter, dropping propaganda on the vietnamese. Hence, litterbugs.
22.5 lb 6-8 yo black and white cocker spaniel. He came in severely matted and was scheduled to be euthanized for lack of space. A kind soul pulled him to a kennel to save his life. He has been boarded for over 4 months now. 2 years Rabies vaccination 7/10/09. He interacts well with other dogs and people, and loves to romp and play.
Update 7/12: Patches went to church this morning - socializing with a lot of children and adults. The sermon was about promises - the 2 different kinds (relationship and performance-related). I thought that Patches was the right dog for this sermon. He is about forgiveness, and both relationship and performance promises. A few interested people from the church - the question being whether he wants love and attention more, or exercise more. Some of the people who want to adopt have a backyard, but have broken bones in their feet and can't walk very well. Patches doesn't know commands yet, jumps up on people, and will need work with house-training. A really nice disposition both with other dogs and people.
Patches went into a temporary foster home for 2 days this afternoon. We need an adoptive or foster home by Tuesday afternoon, or he goes back to WV.

i almost think we should have it "stuffed".
I took this at the famous Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch. At the farm you can experience the fall harvest with the colors, scents, tastes and sounds found on their 100 acres. You can also shop for pumpkins, squash and gourds in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes. Bates Nut Farm also has numerous activities including hay rides, straw maze, pony rides and farm zoo.
I also found Patch at Goodwill today...I almost didn't see him cuz he was sort of hidden away on a shelf with some Fisher-Price stuff.
I think Patch is probably the third orca plush I've found at a Goodwill...I found a Free Willy plush by Dakin back in 2007, I found a small SeaWorld orca plush at another Goodwill back in 2009, and I found Patch today.
This patch is used by the United States Army's 209th Field Artillery Brigade. It was authorized in 1978.
I decided that vitamins delivered by patch is good but this would be great. And who knows, perhaps with this delvery system it would become over the counter instead of prescription?

Hi ya! My name is Patches! I am a young, energetic, happy-go-lucky dog in need of a forever home. I love to play with toys. I will romp and run, tossing them around in the air, tail always wagging with a big, heartwarming grin on my face. I get along well with other dogs, especially those who will play with me. I also have a sweet, friendly, loving personality. I enjoy being petted and told I'm a good boy. I have been around cats and I pretty much ignore them. I am a good dog who is looking for a home where people have the time and energy to spend with me, play with me and shower me with love and kisses. Could that be you? Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. i made patches for ben's black zip-up hoodie - this is a detail of the patch i made with his initials on it
it's not easy getting them to hold still long enough for a photo. Every time I click the shutter, her eyes try to find the source of the noise
The beach bars seemed to collect stuff at their bars and Soggy Dollar collected police/law enforcement patches.
