I took this at the famous Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch. At the farm you can experience the fall harvest with the colors, scents, tastes and sounds found on their 100 acres. You can also shop for pumpkins, squash and gourds in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes. Bates Nut Farm also has numerous activities including hay rides, straw maze, pony rides and farm zoo.

We were shocked to discover that one of Canobie Lake's mascots, Patches the teddy bear, was a doppelganger for Waldameer's mascot, Wally Bear. The two parks are not related, so I have to assume they bought mascots from the same mascot company.

I got this owl patch from Etsy. I had a hole in my sweater, and didn't know how to fix it. I figured it would be good to put a patch on it. This was patch was too big, but it was too cute to pass up. I got a different patch from my sweater, but I have this extra one for a bigger sweater hole in the future. Hehehe.

The potato patch I am growing at home. I have 2 rows of Uptodates(the best roaster ever!), 2 rows of Kennebecs, 1 tyre stack of Uptodates, 1 tyre stack of Kennebecs and 4 tyre stacks of Pinkeyes so hopefully I get a good crop of spuds to feed the family. The steel structure to the left is a sheet of reinfocing mesh bent into an arch like shape to grow my pumpkins and beans on/in, more photos on that later.

This is the last photo I took of Patches. A little over a week after this photo she was put to sleep. She deteriorated very quickly. I'm cursed with cats as of late. She was only 9.
My daughter is still looking for her. They were good buddies. This clip shows the most aggressive moment in Patches' short lived relationship with Ella:

U.S. Army Col. Mark Johnson, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade commander, and U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Terri Clavon, 3rd CAB command sergeant major, visited with Soldiers of Task Force Marauder at Fort Hood, Texas Sept. 18, 2017 to brief leaders as they prepare for the deployment and conduct a patch ceremony where TF Marauder members took on the 3rd Infantry Division patch. Task Force Marauder, which is aligned under the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade for deployment, is composed of Soldiers from the South Carolina National Guard, Pennsylvania National Guard, Illinois National Guard, and Iowa National Guard and provides aviation capabilities with AH-64 Apaches, UH-60 Black Hawks, and CH-47 Chinooks.
