Patches is a playful pup. Dog bones and long walks make his black spotted tail wag, wag and wag some more. But the key to his heart is even simpler. Just give him a lot of love, a lot of kisses, and a quick scratch behind the ears and he'll love you forever!
This is a colored pencil and permanent marker illustration on Strathmore drawing paper. The design belongs to three year old Gracie Hopkins, and has been illustrated with by her mama, Marisa Hopkins.

The Pumpkin Patch is located on Sauvie's Island just 15 minutes northwest of Portland, OR. From Portland, take Highway 30 west towards Scappoose to the Sauvie Island bridge. After crossing the bridge, circle to the left and loop back under the bridge, following Gillihan Road to the farm. Head straight 2 miles until you see our signs.
Market and U-pick: 9 AM - 6 PM, June through October.
Pumpkin Cottage Giftshop: 10am - 6pm.
Patio Cafe: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 10am - 6pm.
The Maize: September-October.

How to patch a plaster wall:
1. Add a wire mesh, lathe, or attach a wood surface.
2. Brown Coat - mix and push the gypsum plaster into the spaces of the lathe.
3. Brown Coat - try to get a rough surface.
4. Plaster coat - Smooth coat with drywall compound.
5. Plaster coat - use an old horsehair brush to match the texture of the wall
